Thanks for the help WayneHelp with entry door lockI recently purchased a 2003 Newmar Scottsdale. The entry door dead bolt doesn't work properly from the inside and I have no key to unlock it from the outside. I spoke with Newmar and they want $474.00 for a replacement. This is crazy money!! I spoke with PTL engineering that makes locks for Newmar and they say it isn't one of theirs. Does anyone know who else makes locks for Newmar? Thanks, WayneRe: battery water going low on only 1 batteryHere are the specs: Duralast battery I like AutoZone batteries.Re: battery water going low on only 1 batteryI had 1 bad battery and the 2nd had a bad cell. The best battery was dated 3/15 and the other had no date. They were not matched batteries. So much for the seller telling me that he put new batteries in. I up graded to 2 Duralast 845 amp batteries. These should hold for a long time. I do have a new converter with smart load.Re: battery water going low on only 1 batteryThanks for the replies. I'll let you know how they check out.battery water going low on only 1 batteryI have 2 12 volt house batteries. I had one of the batteries get low on water while the 2nd is ok. I have a 2002 Holiday Rambler on a Ford E450 chassisRe: Hurricane MatthewFor those planning to head to the Florida east coast once the storm passes. The power grid will be down for several weeks. There will probably be damage to bridges and roads. Unless you are going for rebuilding purposes you're better staying away.Re: Dodging hurricane MatthewTime to go now. Beat the traffic. Not fun driving a RV in high or gusting winds.
