But one thing i did is to paint the jaws of the fifth wheel red and the bottom lip of the king pin yellow. That way it's very easy to look and see if I'm hooked up correctly.Re: BatteriesThanks for the replies. I thought it would be ok but I was not sure. EricBatteriesHello, 2004 Tiffin Phaeton, My dad has one of the his chassis batteries that he thinks might be week. Both were changed in 2013. My question is, can he run two batteries in parallel that have different cold cranking amps? Reference only, one 12 volt battery with 600 cca and one with 700cca. Thanks EricRe: Pick it up FridayCongrats and good luck with it. I don't think I could ever go back to a TT. EricRe: No headlights or turn signalsThanks For the help! It's just is weird that all I had to do was unplug it. EricRe: No headlights or turn signalsCajunboy! Thank You,Thank You,Thank You!!! I did as you said and everything is working as it should. Now why did it quit? Is the module starting to go bad? Thanks EricRe: need help with left rear tail lightIn the right rear baggage compartment there are two fuse blocks. One of the says right turn and one says left turn. I'm not sure if this is the problem but it's a place to look.Re: No headlights or turn signalsThanks for the replies! Cajunboy, Is the module in the fuse block under the drawer or is it someplace else. Could you tell me what it looks like? Did un-pluging that module reset it or did you have to replace it? Thanks EricNo headlights or turn signalsGood Morning, I'm having a problem with our 2004 Tiffin phaeton 40' motorhome on the freightliner chassis with the cat c-7 engine. We left for a trip and found that we have no headlights, turn signals or hazard lights. I can not find where the fuses are located. I found a fuse block under the center drawer that was marked turn signal power, and in the right rear baggage compartment that is marked left and right turn signal. Both fuses are good. I checked the main electrical cabinets, one is on the outside under the drivers seat and the other one under the bed room tv. Out of the four places that I have looked, I have not found anywhere that says headlights. Does anyone have any other ideas of where I could look? Thanks, EricRe: Generator quits after 20 minutesOur Phaeton was doing the same thing. I found that Tiffin had put a second very small filter on top of the frame rail between the gen and the tire. I removed that and it's been running fine ever since. You might want to take a look and see if you have one too.
