Switch underneath panel is labeled in parts manual as climate control. What does it do?

Got a good deal on bigger fridge. Is it okay to transport flat or on side? A friend says yes as long as I leave it upright for a day without turning it on.

I've seen people apply Velcro to rain gutter above door. Do you use any extra adhesive or just what is on Velcro strip?

2000 Jayco Kiwi 23B It has a manual slide but when I close it I get this gap at the top. Any ideas?
