All ActivityMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsRe: leaking leveling jackI had a leaky jack on the left rear. It would only leak when the jack was down and under pressure. Holding up the corner of the coach that is. Turns out that the fitting between the top of the jack and the hose was loose. I took the jack out, cleaned it all up and after removing the fitting, I put some pipe compound on the threads (not Teflon tape)and reassembled the whole deal. Works like a champ now. Good luckRe: Hail damageI have covered my CAR with a sleeping bag to protect it from the hail. I was wearing a pot on my head for protection!! Guess that makes me a pot head!!Re: leveler down lite came onIf my memory is correct, the manual also says to leave the store feature ON while driving. And increasing outside air temp. will cause the jacks to build up some pressure. SwRe: Oil ChangeThat's good to know. Is there a way to tell when the next oil change is due? My Cobalt TOAD has a readout in percent to go. ThanksRe: A/C while drivingOn the flip side, and this is a real problem each beginning of our journey south each year. Has anyone run the furnace while driving down the road? My current Motor Home has the furnace intake and outlet at the back of the coach. We have the heater for the coach from the engine, but for the first couple of hundred miles, there isn't enough heat to make the back close to habitable. I would like to just leave the furnace on all night too!!Even though we hotel it until we get to more moderate climates. What do you think? SwRe: Can't find a switchThank you to those who took the time to reply The switch on each fixture was the culprit. Going to an RV store later this week for some other stuff and new switches. Thanks again SwRe: Can't find a switchYes, I checked the circuit breakers for the coach. The all look OK. The bulb is for sure a 12v. I took one out and replaced it with the one for the dining nook overhead lights. Worked fine. Also, the wiring diagram linked to above shows the reading lights in the bedroom are supplied from the same line as my offending wall fixtures, and they work. Must be the switch on the fixture itself. Gonna check that this weekend. SwRe: Can't find a switchYes, that looks very much like my Sunrise. The only switch I can find is the button right on the fixture itself. I haven't taken the time to remove the fixture from the wall to see if there is 12v going to the switch. That seems to be the next logical step in the mystery. Thanks for all the responses SwRe: Can't find a switchThanks for your responses. After looking at the diagrams, I believe the power for the wall lights comes from the same lines as the reading lights. The reading lights work, so there must be power to the wall lights as well. Time to take the wall lights apart and look for dirty switch or bulb contacts. Thanks again SwitchieCan't find a switchHello All: We've recently purchased a 2004 Winnebago Itasca Sunrise V32 Class 'A' Motorhome. Private sale, so the seller was unable to help. The question is 'Where in the world is the master switch to turn on the wall lights in the bedroom?' There are push-push switches on the fixtures, but they do no good. The bulbs check out OK. No breakers are out from what I see. I've not taken the fixtures off the wall to check for voltage behind yet. The other curious thing is the switch labeled 'Aisle Lights' does nothing also, although I've not checked those bulbs yet. Thanks for any help you good people can provide Switchie
