I didn't know about Sportsmobile -- and their conversions of the Ford Transit van will actually fit my low height. Again, thanks so much!Class Bs under 7'9" tall?I'm looking for a class B that I can fit in my garage. I could do up to 24' long -- it's the height that's a killer. 7'9" is the absolute max. All the ones I see are over 9' high. Any suggestions? MarleneKeeping fresh water tank bacteria-freeI'm confused about how to keep the water in the fresh water tank from picking up bacteria/viruses -- such as the Legionaire's Disease that sitting water can develop. I've seen the postings about running clorox through the system, rinsing then re-rinsings. Which sounds like a problem because where can you drain Clorox water? All the places I've stopped forbid it. I've also had someone tell me that putting Sweet Water (?) in the tank eliminates any need for Clorox and is safe for all uses. After 5 days of the "fresh" water being in the tank, my dogs have refused to drink it, so I don't believe that doing nothing is acceptable. Advice would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you, MarleneRe: Exterior back mounts for kayaks?Spend a little extra for a better seat for the kayak, and you won't have to worry about a sore back. Get something like this (not sure if it works on a regular kayak -- it's perfect for a sit-on-top one): http://www.amazon.com/Ocean-Kayak-Comfort-Tech-Sit-On-Top/dp/B004RMB3HQ/ref=sr_1_3/176-1633523-8249858?ie=UTF8&qid=1391400502&sr=8-3&keywords=kayak+seats You can pull the straps tight enough to give great lumbar support. It made ALL the difference for my back!Re: Exterior back mounts for kayaks?Thank you for the link! I see what you mean about the license/lights. Maybe if you're only carrying one kayak and no bikes you can still see the license. Pricey, but at least I now know this exists!!Exterior back mounts for kayaks? This topic has been moved to another forum. You can read it here: 27502031Exterior back mounts for kayaks?I really want to buy the Forest River Solera S, but it doesn't have storage big enough for my yak board (small, sit-on-top kayak). And I can't be pulling it up on the roof (30+ pounds). Is there a mount for carrying a kayak I could mount on the back of the RV? Thank you for all advice!
