i know they repaved the pass, but can someone tell me about the grade percentage and length of the grades coming from beuna vista to taylor reservoir. we have a 33 foot gas motorhome towing a jeep. don't want to beat up the rv climbing long grades. thanks1.2KViews0likes3Commentsmobile tech service- denver area
not sure where to put this topic, but there is a great mobile tech guy in longmont, colo. had an electrical problem and set it up with jake to diagnose it. he found the problem, but the part had to be ordered. couldn't wait so i ordered it myself when we got settled in for the winter. called jake a few times for advice and when i got the part, he walked me thru the installation. 2 months and a 1000 miles- he could have blown me off. what a guy1.4KViews0likes4CommentsRe: How to stay warm with out electricity?
i'm not going to tell you how to stay warm, but about 15 miles west of the national park called san luis swa. free camping, fire ring, covered picnic table and free 30/50 amp service. downside- no water, but you can go to the national park and refill. senior pass-free, no senior pass- don't know, but it's cheaper than paying campground fees at the park.342Views0likes0CommentsRe: Good Sam insurance
I cancelled my national general policy(integon indemnity?) in December because they were going to raise my premium by 25% even though we had no claims. contacted miller insurance and got a much better rate. let our previous agent we were cancelling, he stated we owed $25.00 cancelation fee. also, on my insurance due date they took the money out of my checking account anyway. I called to complain and they said they would issue me a refund check. 40 days later I am still waiting for that refund check. they say it is in the mail. and if I don't see it in 3-4 days they said to call again. if it doesn't show up they will cancel that check and within 30 days I would be reimbursed. anybody else have these problems with this insurance company?0Views0likes0Comments
