I have all the jacks working manually but with error on right rear. By switching the plugs found the jack work so the control board is bad. There in is the problem. There aren’t any control board to be had. Contacted the company that bought out Power gear was told this part is obsolete they don’t have any nor does an internet search show any. So this FYI I would not buy any product from this company Lippert Components lci1.com because you never know when they will declare something they sell is obsolete and your screwed.Re: Road side assistance NOT pitch wrote: No sir your insurance company DID NOT pay for your valve stem unless it was the result of an accident. Your insurance company will dispatch a service provider to do the repairs at your expense. Depending on your insurance carrier and the way your policy is written, you may have just had a "Claim",which will be taken into account when your policy is reviewed![/quot] Not mine I have accident forgiveness plus that's all goodsams pays for so I will save the $114 a year for nothing. Enough said if you guys want to pay for it go right ahead not me. Re: Road side assistance NOTMy post was to state that if you have roadside assistance on your insurance policy the goodsams does the same thing so the $114 a year for me is just an added expense. so for now on I'll call my insurance provider and save the $114 which BTW would have paid for this. :SRoad side assistance NOTHave a problem with a value stem on my motorhome. Called goodsams platinum membership. They are setting up service. But I was told it was $87.50 for parts and labor huh? What good is it for me to pay for this service if all they do is call someone to do the service? My Geico insurance has that included with my policy and I don't pay $114 a year for it. My bad lesson learned.Re: Satellite provider recommendation 4 FTAs above we use Winegard Trav'ler with directv, works great. It is the same big dish as the stand alone one on the ground. All automatic. We were on Dish but were not happy so we switched. We have a HD antenna but have found it all but useless, unless you watch PBS , Spanish stations or ME tv. Our rig came with a tracvision type roof satellite but that was nothing but trouble. You can use the stand alone manual dish but with the new Directv single LNB you need a good meter to lock on the signal. We use this if we are extended stay and don't have a line of sight for the Travler.Re: residential refridgeratorInstalled the samsung in our coach. The rv shop took it through the window easiest way. BTW you will love it :CRe: What is a good percentage off MSRP Goldencrazy wrote: By the way//With respect to buying new. I like to buy new because I trade my headaches. I have often found that the -3 year old coach as not a great coach. It came back on the market because the owner had trouble. So be careful. You can find some great deals and also some big headaches. Same can be said about new all the people have know that bought new had problems some were major.Re: What is a good percentage off MSRPFirst of all would never buy new. 1-2 years old will save a ton. secondly almost all new coaches have problems. a 1-2 year old most the problems have been fixed.Re: direct tv Bobbo wrote: You are right about locals. If you have them transferred, anyone at home loses them. Also, unlike Dish, Directv will only transfer them about twice a year. Also, keep in mind that the Trav'ler is not a portable. If you are parked under trees, you will have no reception. You may need a 3 LNB Slimline dish on a tripod for those occasions. I don't know of an automatic portable that does Directv HD. With a little practice, though, the manual dish I mentioned above is not THAT hard to aim. We have transferred locals about 7-8 times this year no problem.Re: Need to replace all window treatments. Suggestions? BB_TX wrote: MCD shades are not cheap. But they are sure nice. Second that. We put in one MCD and they are nice. Then went to Blinds Chalet http://blindschalet.com/ . the shades actually made by United shade. We order 2 from them for our hallway. the day night roller solar shades. IMHO they are as good as the MCD at 1/2 the price. But make sure of your valance depth. When we order we didn't know they make a narrow shade which we need for our valances. their shades are custom but they are going to take them back and put on the narrow mounts . no cost except the shipping to them. that's good customer service.
