We looked for a long time for a used bunk house and happened to come across this one just a couple days after it was traded in.Re: Towing Question for a new 2015HD GMC Denali PUWe have a 2014 Silverado (new body style) and we DO have to disconnect the battery to flat tow. We have the touch screen radio and do not loose any presets, there or anywhere else on the truck. We simply put the transfer case into N, leave the key in the ignition, adjust the seat to meet the brake buddy and then disconnect the battery. Never have had a problem with the battery running low, even on a trip from NY to FL. We use an aux. 12 volt outlet that clamps on to the battery and then runs into the cab to the brakebuddy. Since Chevy and GMC trucks are identical under the hood and electronically I'm sure yours would be the same. Our manual says that we will loose the presets, but we never have.Re: Using a 2014 GMC Sierra in dinghy towingWe tow a 2014 Silverado. We use an aux. 12 volt outlet that clamps on to the battery. We ran a line from that down under the truck and came up under the passenger floor mat, if you lift the carpet there is a rubber plug that can be removed to run the wire up through. Only problem we have is we always forget to adjust the driver seat position to fit the brake buddy before we unhook the 12v terminal..Re: Flat Towing a Chev PickupWe tow a 2014 Silverado. Installed the baseplate, wiring, and lights. Took about half a day to install everything and it tows great! We installed a blue ox baseplate and had to remove the front bumper, but it was still very easy.Re: watkins glenn nascar raceWe stay at the Watkins Glen KOA. Its very convenient, both from I86 and to get to the race track.Re: When will RV Manufacturers be concerned with quality? We also have a 2008 Allegro 35QBA, granted we have the gas version but we haven't had any problems with the dog house. The only issue we have is that when the passenger pushes on the carpet toward the fire wall with their feet the dash heater control lever will move from hot to cold (if its on cold to begin with.. kind of strange, but hasn't been a big enough problem to "dig" into yet.Re: Tires. I recently have seen a couple for sale online for 55-75k for the 2008 model. Its the same floor plan as the 2015's just the front an rear caps have been redesigned with a few other minor changes.Thermostat/Electric HeatI have a Coleman Digital Thermostat in my RV. The exact one I have can be seen here Thermostat. When I turn the thermostat to electric heat I can hear the air conditioner coming on. However, the regular propane furnace comes on as well?
