There are extra vents in the floor near the front of the cabin. Now I know what they are for! I won't need to run the rooftop AC with the generator when we are on the road! Wow, wish I had figured that out a little sooner! Glad to know! Thanks for your help!Re: What is this?Hmmmm, it does have rear air bags. I aired them up today to 30psi via the valves in the service bay using my tire compressor. It would be great if there was a compressor already stashed on board? The dash AC has an extra dash knob which blows the engine AC back far into the living area. We had to have our cabin/rooftop AC replaced in August when we travelled down to Myrtle Beach. As an FYI we had awesome service and response on site from Camping World! Going out to see if there is an air bag connection. What is this?Greetings, I have a new to me 2002 Itasca Sundancer 27P. It's a class C on a Ford 450. I can't figure out what the AIR switch is for. Looks like an add on. It sits directly above the AUX battery switch just above the emergency brake on the drivers left. It has OFF, LO, MED & HI on the face plate. Also AIR at the bottom. Missing knob. Not in the manual. Person I bought it from did not know. It doesn't turn on or affect the fan or Dash AC. https://www.shutterfly.com/picturepicker/viewTabletPicturePicker.sfly?fid=fa5d737bea15c7333315f89dbf2f35f7 Any ideas?Re: The 1959 Ford Thames campervan restoration begins.Kevin, Congratulations on your wedding! I picked up 2 of them at our dealer. Something like this...... Hitch Ball CoverRe: Cool Mods - Thread restored 10/18/2012 Henry Wang wrote: Lol, dang. Cut and paste the wrong search window. PamRe: Cool Mods - Thread restored 10/18/2012Ron & Bucky, Thanks for the pictures on the shelving. I normally don't like the wire shelves, but they are light weight & easy to move around. I can see that they also let more light into the cabinet than wood shelves would. Ok, now I have my next interior project to work on....lol. Pat, thanks for the info on the antenna.I am still on the fence about what to do, but an interior antenna might just work for the local channels since I like to drag our Directv satellite along on most trips. I know, I know, I used to be one of those campers who would look at campers with sat dishes as being ridiculous, but here we are a few years later dragging ours along.........lol. Gotta love camping with all the comforts.....:BRe: Cool Mods - Thread restored 10/18/2012Larry, Nice mods. I also added the fence post cover to hold our sewer hose. I added a heavy plastic drawer next to the hose holder near my dump valve. I place our sewer connectors, dump hose, flush king, hand sanitizer & gloves in there. I always hated putting that stuff in my front storage area. I'm thinking now about adding a shelf to the long cabinet over our bed. There is a lot of unused space there. Luvnevryminutofit that bike rack is awesome! Has anyone done anything to the long wardrobe type closest along side the bed? Who brings clothes on hangers camping? Not us. Currently I have plastic stackable drawers in there, but they only sit about halfway in, so there is a lot of lost space. I wonder if it's worth shelving & maybe using baskets? In August I tore off our antenna. Yes, I neglected to lower the antenna & the trees we were parked under decided to keep the antenna. Well, now I need to replace it & was thinking about one of those satellite dishes with the omni directional antenna attached to it. Anyone have any experience with that set up? The fancy dome satellites are way out of my budget, but I could spring for one of those crank-up ones with the antenna attached. I've read that those omni directional antenna's are not nearly as good as the winegard booster ones. Any input? Thanks, PamRe: ~Post your campsite photos here~Here is a November 2006 photo from our Thanksgiving camping here in Cincinnati. Winton Woods Campground, Hamilton County Parks. It was beautiful, right on the lake. This is also Winton Woods, Halloween Creepy Camping weekend 2006
