I'm in the market for an electric one as my back and shoulder are totally shot.Trailer battery not charging from tow vehicleMy travel trailer does not seem to be charging from the tow vehicle while traveling. I think I may have a bad 20A fuse for the "tow battery charge". There are 2 choices for these fuses. A tall one and a shorter one. Which one do I get for my 2003 F-250? Thanks in advance.Re: Pulling with half ton!Do I need a 2500 or a 3500# electric jack for my 23' Keystone Bobcat?Air Pressure for blowing out lines for winterI know it is on here somewhere but what is the pressure to use for blowing out tank/lines for winterizing. I have a 150 lbs compressor but I think I remember that I need to adjust it to 25-30 lbs max for blowing out the lines?Re: How to Winterize w/ air compressorWinterizing with compressed air. I forget what pressure I should adjust the compressor to. Can you give me some help with this? I think it was 25-30 lbs of pressure.Winterized w/compressed airI winterized my TT with compressed air through the city water inlet with my compressor set at 25 PSI. I went through and opened each valve one at a time for over an hour. I uncapped the low point drains and the hot water tank plug. Of course emptied the Black and Grey tanks and let drain for an hour or so too. My problem is that the tanks still read that there is some in them? I know they have lied to me before. Is there any way there could still be water in my fresh water tank after opening and purging EVERYTHING with air, uncoupling the pump and leaving all low point caps and plugs out? Sorry for being so long winded. This is my first TT and winterizing.Re: Balanced LoadI was thinking more side to side as I have heard you should balance your load when packing your trailer. I have an F-250 PU so there shouldn't be any tow vehicle problems. First time out this coming weekend. Thank you for your replies.Balanced LoadI have a 2002 23' Keystone Bobcat travel trailer I bought used. My question is: Can I assume the trailer is balanced at the factory with nothing in it or is it balanced with water in the tank and nothing else loaded? I would also like to see a floor plan for this trailer to see where all the holding tanks are if anyone out there might have one. I have searched the internet but still cant find one. It is the model with the full size bed (not bunks). Thank You in Advance, Ron in AlaskaBest Generator size for small (23') Travel TrailerWe just got a smaller 23' travel trailer and will be doing mostly dry camping as we have camped all over Alaska in our truck and camper for years but have just got too old to climb up and down into it. I was thinking about getting a small generator for the few times it might be nice to have one. I was thinking about a 1000w or 2000w as they are pretty quiet. Would a 1000w do for occasional use?Re: Weight Distribution hitch with anti-sway barsJust picked up a 23' Keystone BobCat with hitch and sway bars. It's zero degrees here in Alaska and will be 4 months before I can get out with it. What would be the average tongue weight I should be figuring on? The TV is a V-10 F-250 if that make a difference. How do you figure which link on the chain from the bar onto the trailer to use? I'll have a bunch of questions for you guys! Thanks in advance. Ron
