Will you please send us a private message with your membership number so we can look into this issue further? Thank you Read my post, it has been "looked into" countless times. Seems when I hang up the phone, all effort to correct this problem ends.Re: The challenges of owning a trailer. The only thing that works on an RV is the owner.Poor IT ManagementThe people at Good Sam/ Camping World etc cannot figure out how an email address I have been using for many years, magically changed names. I am now known as CLIFFORD CORDER. It's not likely that my email was hacked as no other sites that uses an email address has been affected. This issue has been brought to their attention countless times. So, either they are incompetent, or they just don't give a ****. I can deal with incompetency, the other will not get GS a renewal of my membership.Re: good sam rallyThat generation of RV'ers are gone or no longer RV'ing.Re: Online Military Discount Lwiddis wrote: Your comment would justify those serving but not those that did a couple years and separated. I did my couple of years and separated, 1968-1970 and 13 months in Vietnam. Not everyone is a lifer.Re: Pilot GoodSam RV Plus Card IssuesThis seems to be an issue many things Good Sam. I logged into Camping World and suddenly my name is CLIFFORD CORDER. I contacted customer service and explained the problem and I was informed they have a new software program, and I was not alone, but would fix it promptly. That was two months ago.Re: Where are all of the snowbirds?I posted a gripe under Campingworld RV Sales. My post was eventually hijacked by two individuals who decided to have an argument not at all related to my post. People come to this forum looking for information, or to vent, but there is ALWAYS someone who has to be a jackass with their sarcasm. I come here infrequently now as a result.Re: RVs over 10 years old are valueless rhagfo wrote: restlessways wrote: I have a 15 year old 5th wheel in perfect condition, but I am no longer allowed in RV parks - the same parks which allowed me in last year. They're all citing "the 10 year rule." Therefore, this 5th wheel serves no purpose anymore as I cannot travel with it. I am done RVing. Rant off. You state perfect condition, is it clean, and waxed and looks new? I honestly think most 10 year rules are to cull out junkers. I stay mostly in state parks and not an issue, I can see if it is a high park, but not a standard park. The "10 year rule" now includes anything 2012 and older.I have a 1998 Jayco Eagle 243RKS, and on a scale of 1-10 I would give it a strong 7+. I was not allowed to return to an RV park in Rockport TX that I have been wintering at since 2016 because of new ownership and their 10 year rule.Re: 5th wheel purchase advise - Solitude or JaycoI've owned both Jayco and Grand Design 5th wheels. IMO, choose the model that best fits your needs/wants and look for fit and finish. Once you have made your decision, the next hurdle would be to determine if the dealer is capable of handling all the warranty issues you will have. A couple that I know, purchased new, a 2017 Jayco Pinnacle, beautiful rig, but the shop has enjoyed it more than they have. My last purchase was a 2019 Solitude S-Class. After a multitude of issues, I sold it and I no longer RV with towables. QC is lacking in most all Rv industries.
