Anyone know of a reputable place in Colorado or the surrounding States. I am willing to travel for reliable service.Wireless headphones/dvd player speakersProud owner of a used 2012 Tiffin bunkhouse. Each bunk has a DVD player in it and I don’t know if they have speakers. It appears that you can tune them to an a.m. radio station or use wireless headphones. Will any wireless pair of headphones off Amazon work? There is no brand model it just says., “ roof mounting TFTLCD with DVD player”. The front of the manual says DVD video car monitor.Battery Life?Newbie here. I've never boon-docked before, and was wondering how long I can have the lights on in my TT before the battery gets to a critical level (from what I've read below half way charged is bad?) I have a Winnebago Minnie, and the refrigerator and water heater can run off propane, so I am good in that department. Basically, I want to know when I pull into a Wal-Mart parking lot for the night, can I have three or four overhead lights on for a few hours and be fine? What about a day or two? If I left a light on accidentally over night would it drain my battery completely? Is there a way to measure this other than the battery meter in the TT which I have read is not an accurate reflection of battery load or the water tanks for that matter. My TT only has one battery, and I have no idea how long it can power certain loads. This is all assuming I start with a full charge because I will have been towing for a few hours and my truck is recharging the battery. ThanksRe: Need help selecting TT for small familyMy wife and I just bought our first and we got a Winnebago 2455BHS. Cost was a bit over your price point, but they have models that are smaller and cheaper. We like the new Winnie interior because it doesn't look like it is from the 80's, and the exterior is pretty sharp too. We haven't beat it up yet, but the first few trips have been smooth and we are loving it. As someone mentioned before, you will find bad reviews on every trailer. They aren't built that well, and quality control is poor. Expect to make modifications and to fix a few things right out the gate. Good luck..Harsh LightingOnly my second post so take it easy on me. The lighting in our new 2018 Winnie 2455BHS is very harsh (like hospital lighting). First, how do I get to the bulb itself? I tried to jiggle the plastic lighting cover and it didn't pop off easily so I didn't want to rip it out of the ceiling. Second, does anyone have a bulb they prefer that has more of a soft indoor lighting glow to it, preferably that I can get off Amazon. Thanks.Re: Dometic CT Thermostatdougrainer, The inside trailer and outside temp was way less than 110 deg, probably around 75 in San Diego. Also, the unit is a 2018 Winnebago Minnie model, so the tstat is a new. I am glad to hear that you don't have any problems, but other people have posted reviews that have the same problem as me. To be specific, I can press the power button ONE time, and the tstat will cycle from fan to cool to furnace and then off. When I finally do get the unit to stay on cool, if I try to adjust the temperature up or down, one press of the arrow cycles the unit from cool, to furnace then off. Sometimes it switches from F to C hitting one button rather than press both arrows simultaneously. Is it possible that the control board is causing the issue rather than the tstat?Dometic CT ThermostatJust got done with my shakedown trip and discovered my Dometic CT thermostat is garbage. Any button you press causes the thermostat to erratically cycle through all the functions, so you never know what you will land on. The good news is that it does activate the furnace and AC when you land on the right screen. My questions are: 1. Should I just get the same thermostat again and hope for the best (the unit has awful reviews all around on Amazon) 2. If I choose to get an upgraded Dometic thermostat, will it be plug and play as far as the wiring is concerned? 3. If money was no object, what is the best digital thermostat out there? 4. If I get a different brand like a Honeywell, how hard is the installation? Is it DIY? 5. Are there any other components, such as a control board, that I should think about replacing when I replace the thermostat. Thanks.
