I am stationary at a campground for what I hoped to be a couple months. I wanted the local propane dealer to send a bobtail over to refill my tank. They refused, citing a DOT regulation. My arguments were futile. I am now searching for another, more knowledgeable dealer. Meanwhile, I'll continue to use my "Extendastay" Thanks for all your helpful info. I think we can put this to bed.Re: On-board propane tank refillYes. The tank is original. 2003 CoachmenRe: On-board propane tank refillYes. The tank is original. 2003 CoachmenOn-board propane tank refillI have a 20 Gallon propane tank welded to the frame. I have had this tank refilled dozens of times over the last 10 years. Today, the propane truck refused to refill the tank, citing some fuzzy DOT rule. Does anyone have info about this?Re: Onan spark plugIt's an Onan microquiet 4000. 5/8" is too small, 11/16" is too small, 3/4" is too small, 13/16" is too big ... Could it be metric? Perhaps I can get the heat shield off so I can see the whole plug. Access is a little awkward. This all stems from failure to start. It would start and run a few seconds, now it doesn't even try. It is getting a good spark from the wire terminal. The genset has only about 125 hours. Meanwhile, I'll check gas line. Thanks for your suggestions.Onan spark plugSimple question: What size socket is required to remove the spark plug from my gen set?Re: What did you do to your Class C MH today???Reinstalled clean overhead vent screens and trim. Getting ready to upgrade TV over cab.Re: Replacing old TV with flat screenVery helpful. Good tip about inverter also very clever mounting and stowing in the pics. The Teflon stabilizers/latches is a great idea. I hadn't addressed that yet. ThanksRe: What did you do to your Class C MH today???Pulled down remaining overhead vent screens. DW will wash. Taking inventory for replenishing supplies. Whatever we forget will be available at Wal-Mart.Replacing old TV with flat screenI removed the bulky 12 year old TV from the compartment over the cab. Plan to install a 29" flat screen. If the wall mount works as expected, I will have access to the compartment by rotating the mount to the left or right. If anyone has done this, I would appreciate any tips you may have. If I can figure out how, I'll post some pics.
