I notice waves (up and down) in the fiberglass here and there. We just did a big wash on the RV as it gets dirty under trees here on the South Oregon Coast. I wonder if there is water inside the walls that cause those waves. What else could it be? I have no leaks that I am aware of, but I do know water between walls can damage flooring etc. My old Alfa slideout floors were destroyed! We get big storms here on the South Oregon Coast. Have one coming this weekend.2010 Cougar Fifth Wheel RVI have a 2010 Cougar Fifth Wheel RV. Living room and bedroom slideouts. Never move the living room slide but do the bedroom. Put it in to clean the RV and now it won't go back out. The wall button pushed down for out makes no sound. Dead. We checked out by the battery with a voltage tester and we get positive result. we have a small gadget 2 x 3 inches with in/our buttons for Main, Bed, Front Jacks, Opp. Also for Security Light On LCI in that order top to bottom. Supposed to have a booklet for that gadget but I can't find it. I have a three-inch thick file for the RV but not that booklet. We were hoping to use the gadget to bring the slide out. Q1 - does anyone have a booklet for this gadget? It does not have a model or brand name on it. Q2 - Does anyone know if there is a manual way to get the slide to move down under the mattress/below a huge piece of plywood and under all that is a motor and lots of wires? Is there a handle or something that we can use to manually move slide out? I will NEVER bring the slide in again. I don't travel in it, just live in it. Q3 - any suggestions or ideas. I am age 80 now and want to take care of this as best I can until I meet the Grim Reaper.Re: I have a Grey Tank I don't know what it is forThank you all for your feedback concerning my grey tanks. We figured it out! I thought the kitchen sink drained into the main grey tank, but it drains into that rear RV tank. Since I generally keep the grey water tank open I did not realize this.I have a Grey Tank I don't know what it is forI have as 2010 Cougar. Near the front of the RV it has a grey tank that serves kitchen and bath sinks and shower. There is also pull lever near the back of the RV and a small sign on the side of the RV "grey tank." I have no idea what this is for. None of my manuals show this. Any idea? ThanksIs my RV park still a Good Sam Club park?I live at Bandon RV Park in Bandon, Oregon and have for 12 years. We were a Good Sam Club park for a very long time, but I am not sure we are now. We were sold to an investment company that is very hard to get information about or from. Our two couples that worked here were fired, and we have one young woman who works here M-Sat if she shows up. Many aspects of the park have been taken away to save money. I want to know if Good Sam is still here without having to engage with the manager.Dometic Duo Therm Air Conditioner--does it blow in debris?I have a 2010 Cougar with a great air conditioner. I recently replaced the vent and new foam filter. It i pretty much the same as the old ole, but it sure seems that ten minutes after I clean the RV and then turn on the air, the areas I cleaned (such as the black interior trim around the windowsand on other surfaces) is covered with dust etc. Is it possible that stuff blows into the RV through the air conditioner to that degree?Re: Adhesive Removal for Decals/GraphicsMy Cougar RV is my second one. And last. Unless I meet and marry a wealthy old guy!Adhesive Removal for Decals/GraphicsI live near the Pacific Ocean on the South Oregon Coast. I have a 2010 Cougar Fifth-wheel RV. Because of high winds and driving rain the decals/graphics and stripes on the Cougar have become tattered over the years. I used a heat gun to remove the decals/graphics over two days, but this heavy-duty adhesive is very difficult to remove. I have tried many adhesive (not glue) removers, and the only one that works that does not remove any of the finish is lacquer thinner. It is a tedious job, and I am wondering if anyone has a better idea. Goo Gone and Goof Off don't work at all. Acetone takes off the finish. The heat gun softens the adhesive, but it hardens again almost immediately, and scraping it while warm doesn't work either. I am guessing there are others who don't thank the Cougar makers for this series of RV's because of this adhesive and decals that are guaranteed to shred and peel. I see the newer models (and even the older models) have a totally different way to seal those decals/graphics. I would like to see manufacturers allow buyers to choose not to have any of the graphics.Re: Caulking removers - cautionmyredracer: What did you finally do to remove the ProFlex or did you just put new Proflex over the old as you mentioned? How is it holding up? I live half a mile from the Pacific and we get wid storms here. They do a job on caulking, but I have had good luck with Proflex. In the past I have tooled it off (often it comes off in a long strip) and then wiped it down with acetone before I reapply.
