If you have done the above and don't know how to safely check then get help. Input voltage is right around 120V . . .Re: Dimension Inverter/Charger not charging batteries ndrorder wrote: Here are three things to check. 1. None of the circuit breakers in the main panel at the foot of the bed are tripped. 2. None of the circuit breakers integral to the inverter/charger are tripped. 3. Verify 120V input power to the inverter/charger with a digital voltmeter. Since you mentioned searching for manuals, I found the Itasca manual at the following link. http://www.winnebagoind.com/resources/manuals/operatormanuals2005.php Checked all these . . . 120V does even end up at the plugs in the RV.Re: Dimension Inverter/Charger not charging batteries Executive wrote: Try pushing the on/off button three times and see if the inverter turns itself back on. Also check the internal fuse in the unit itself...Dennis Hitting the reset three times did nothing (didn't change anything on the display either oddly enough). Confirmed the main fuse is fine.Dimension Inverter/Charger not charging batteriesHi, I was hoping someone had some ideas on how to resolve an issue I have with my Dimension Inverter/Charger not charging batteries. Here are the details on the unit: - 2005 Itasca Horizon 40AD - Dimension 12x20B3RT Inverter/Charger Problem: - when plugged into shore power the batteries are not being charged. - on the control panel it says: "CHGR-OFF NO INPT" AND "INVERTER-OFF - the house and coach battery voltage is around 12.7 and shows that it is not charging - The control unit does show that its on 30 amp - 120V is available throughout the unit - running the generator and not connected to short power results in the exact same result - all fuses on the Dimension, on the chassis, and on the house seem fine I was able to find the manual for the Dimension but not a lot of help: https://www.rvtechlibrary.com/electrical/dimensions_owners.pdf I'm guessing some sort of transfer switch type of issue? Anyone have any ideas on next steps to trouble shoot it? Thanks, DarrylRe: STRANDED - no power to slide controls or jacks 2chiefsRus wrote: on ours, the jacks down indicator light comes on with the jack fluid is low. It can be just a very little bit low and the lights will come on. Ours as well - not the issue though as I have no power to the control panel in the motorhome.Re: STRANDED - no power to slide controls or jacks MrWizard wrote: control panel ? for the slides and jacks ? or do you mean the house fuse panel inside ? the house panel with the 120v breakers and internal DC fuses will NOT have the heavy 50 to 100 amp fuse that powers the jacks and slides that is in a different location, might be in a box in one of the storage bays if that is the 'control panel' you are talking about goto winniebagos website and download the electrical manual for your 2005 Itasca you should have that anyway No power to the control panel in the motorhome. Checked the fuse panel outside (in the compartment to the right of the drivers seat) and the compartment under the bed. I found the HWH pump and wiring by the front step but now not sure what to do. I figure this might be a ground issue, but can't seem to find the ground wire. While I was driving a couple of times the jack down light came on. We stopped and the jacks were up, but then when driving again it kept happening and the power to the control for both the jacks and the slides sometimes all lights would come on and other times there was no power to it at all. When we stopped for the night then, there is no power at all to the control panel and I can't get the slides to open. I opened up the control panel and everything is connected. I can't find a fuse anywhere - not in the chassis fuse area or the house fuse area. I have no idea what to do. Does anyone have any ideas? 2005 Itasca Horizon 40AD DarrylRe: No signal lights, headlights, docking lights, fog lightsOK, Had to head out of town and finally got back to look at this. When I got back the chassis battery was almost completely dead - 10.7 V. The batteries were old and so I went and replaced them. What do you know - everything is back working. Very very odd to say the least. I'm wondering if the batteries were just so completely dead they caused issues . . . Anyway, thanks everyone for the help.Re: No signal lights, headlights, docking lights, fog lights dvleemin wrote: 1995brave wrote: You may have lost the ground which looks to be labeled "TP" 14awg White wire going to the chassis connector on pin "E". Turn on all the lights and what is not working marker, brake , turn, etc. According to the drawings you have a ground block(all white wires) in the power cord compartment. Start there and look for a wire broken, chewed through, etc. Located in the body 12volt wiring diagram. Thanks! By power cord compartment do you mean where the shore power connection is? Or where all the chassis fuses are? I'm assuming this is it: Re: No signal lights, headlights, docking lights, fog lights 1995brave wrote: You may have lost the ground which looks to be labeled "TP" 14awg White wire going to the chassis connector on pin "E".
