Took it back to camping world twice, both times they could not find the source of the leak, they seemed convinced it was due to us letting shower water drip onto the floor.(ie not securing the shower curtain) Because, you know, we're idiots or something. We've had it over a year now, and the last time we camped we didn't use the shower, but the puddle still appeared. I have since discovered the puddle forms when the toilet is flushed. I'm not a plumber or an RV tech, just a guy with a flashlight and a ticked off wife. Does camping world need to fix this or is it even worth the hassle to take it back to them.Re: electrical questionThanks y'all. I'm pretty ignorant about electrical stuff. Living in FL we have lots of power surges and outages though. Time to get educated!electrical questionI have 50 amp service at my pole barn, where my rv will be stored. My rv is a 30 amp tt. Would I be better off using a 50 amp surge protector, then plugging in a 50 amp to 30 amp adapter; or, using the 50 amp to 30 amp adapter, then plugging in a 30 amp surge protector? Surge protectors are progressive industries ssp 30xl or ssp 50xl.Re: propane regulator leakingWell as it turns out, it would be covered under warranty. If I wanted to take it to the dealer, and let them determine if it's faulty, then they could "ask" Jayco for a replacement, etc...So I just ordered another regulator from Amazon for 32 bucks. It wasn't an exact match, but it works. Hot water and heat for the New Year! Life is goodpropane regulator leakingSo it appears our propane regulator is leaking. Our Jayco is only 9 months old. I pulled the faulty one off but I can't get the brass fitting loose from the regulator. Of course no place carries this item, and our local camping world is closed for the holiday. Would this be considered a warranty item? How long should one of these things last?propane regulator leakingSo it appears our propane regulator is leaking. Our Jayco is only 9 months old. Check that too!50 amp surge suppressor, 30 amp rvI have a 50 amp suppressor from a previous rv. My current rv has 30 amp service. Do I need a new suppressor, or can I use a 50 amp to 30 amp dogbone?Re: Picking up our new tt today. Thanks y'all! We got her home and now we're just counting the minutes til we take her out. DW is going to load it up tomorrow while I'm at work. She's truly in her element!Picking up our new tt today.Well, after months of research and agony, we're finally scheduled to pick up our new Jayco 267bhsw from the dealer today. The forecast calls for rain, of course, but the weekend looks good and we have a site booked at a local state park. Can't wait to get her home and start filling her up! Anyone have any helpful advice on what to look for in the pdi?
