You can see where the plywood is delaminating because the membrane has a bubble in it. The cause I think is the screws. There are metal strips that run back each side of the EPDM. It looks like there should be some sort of cover that slides into the metal strip and covers the screw heads, but that cover is gone and there is no sealant on the score heads.RV Armour or Line X RoofI need a new roof on my 2010 Newmar Canyon Star. I have narrowed down my choices to either an RV Armour or Line X roof. I currently have an EPDM roof that has some water intrusion/damage. I had a local shop out working on my AC and we were casually discussing a new roof and he mentioned $5700. I got a price from RV Armour of $5070 + the repairs. Called the local guy a couple weeks ago and his $5700 became $8000! Anyone have any experience with either of these roofs?WiringWe've got a Newmar Canyon Star 3920. Dual zone Dometic Penguin Acs. I have run a new telephone cable from the thermostat to the front AC unit due to a communication error, Code EE, on the thermostat. In the process of trying to figure out which of the telephone lines that connect to the front AC unit was the one that ran to the thermostat I broke the other one. I thought that that one ran straight from the front AC unit to the bedroom AC unit but apparently that is not the case. From what I have been able to learn it may run to the CB panel? Can anyone confirm this? Also is is possible to fish a phone line from the front unit through the ceiling to the CB box? Suggestions? dalerussel wrote: As a cheap fix, we cut some reflective window insullation to the size of our bedroom window. We put it underneath our shades when we want it dark. It also helps with temperature control while parked. Camping World sells rolls of this. We also use this in our front windshield under the curtains. You can also get Reflectix insulation at Lowe's. $43 for a 4' x 25' roll.Re: Tow Dolly problemsAnything with straps needs to be checked periodically, ask any truck driver. Pull the car onto the dolly until it hits the stops. Set the parking brake. Strap it down tight. RELEASE THE PARKING BRAKE. 25 miles or so down the road stop and check the straps, etc. Check at every fuel stop. You should be fine.Re: NC to Southern AZDeparting Asheville area Nov 1 bound for Sierra Vista, AZ.
