Flat Towing Jeep Wrangler 2014 4 wheel drive, manual
I'm considering towing a Jeep Wrangler 2014 with manual transmission and 4-wheel drive. I read on-line of earlier Wranglers engaging in gear while being towed causing an accident. I'm planning a trip from CA to Charleston in my Winnebago Class A and return, October 2013 to mid-Jan. 2014. Anyone have experience or suggestions about routes and weather. I would probably take the Flagstaff, Amarillo, Ok. City, Little Rock, Nashville route on the way over in early Oct. and the most Southern route possible for the Jan. return, maybe hanging out for a while in lower S. We've had our 28' Winnebago about two weeks. Last week in Santa Rosa, CA, we decided to venture out to Costco. Parked as you did -- in the middle of two spaces and as far away as possible. Thanks for the quick responses. I'll try O'Reilly's this morning. .I'm less concerned about theft than some idiot pouring sugar into the tank. There are people here in northern CA who literally hate RVs (and large vehicles in general). Why make it easy for them?191Views0likes0Comments
