I want to install Thetford toilet riser in my 980 but the flange is to close to the shower. I am thinking about cutting about 2" off one side of the riser.I'm afraid it may weaken it,if anybody has done that let me know if it worked all right.Thanks ...

Thanks Old-Biscuit. I think that maybe I could add some wood reinforcement,that should make it stronger than new. I hope I can turn the flange a little bit that should make everything fit better.
