Everyones input is very appreciated!!wifi camera while campingNeed some help please. I would like to figure out a way to keep an eye on our dogs while we are away from the 5th wheel. I have been told that most, if not all campground use a "captive portal"(dont even know what that is)and that i cannot use a wifi camera. I spoke to D-Link about their cameras and was told they would not work. Any ideas?? Anyone currently using a wifi camera while camping at a KOA?? Thankstraverse citySeasons Greetings All, I would love to hear from anyone who has been to Traverse City Mi. Wife and i are beginning to set up our 2015 RV trips and are curios about Traverse City. Plenty of activities/things to do and see? Campground suggestions?tunerHi. I have a 2013 F-350 super duty with a 6.2 gas engine. I have been considering adding a tuner for increased towing performance. Currently pulling a 11000 lb 5er. Anybody out there running with a tuner? If so what tuner do you have. I been hearing some good things about 5 star tuners. weigh in let me know your thoughts. Thanksroad grades yellowstone/jacksonI am hoping to hear from travelers that have been to both Yellowstone and the Black Hills so i can try to draw a comparison of the road grades. I just came back from the Black Hills and my gas powered f 350 super duty handled the 11000 lb 5th wheel pull to the Keystone/Rushmore area just fine. Was wondering if the road grades are comparable? Harder? ThanksRe: Black Hills Palmer Gulch KOAalready planning for Sept trip!Black Hills Palmer Gulch KOAJust returned back to Iowa from 10 days in the Black Hills. First time back to this area since I was a kid back in the 70's. Really enjoyed the trip as well as the campground. Stayed at Palmer Gulch KOA. This campground is super busy and not for everyone. Huge kids area with lots of water activities and can be noisy at times. The evening quite time rule was pretty much none existence with kids running around after 10.30 and a continual cycle of campers checking in and setting up around the clock. With that said, we really enjoyed the place. Location was perfect for us, about midway between Rushmore/Keystone and Hill City. Close to all the activities we wanted to do and see. I personally enjoy an active campground. Both the restaurant and the pub were busy with "happy campers". The horse stable located at the entrance to the campground was always a joy to walk to and pet the horses. We also enjoyed the quaint wine/coffee house. All in all had a wonderful Black Hills experience. It was also the first time in our new (and first ever) 5th wheel. Forest River V Cross 37ft with 3 slides. Love the camper and our 2013 GAS 6.2 ford f 350 super duty performed better than expected. No complaints pulling over 10,000lbs with gas (except mileage).Re: Camping in Cody, WYGood point....Pigeon Forge, Run down and dirty? Its not my intention to offend anyone...I have never been to Pigeon Forge, TN. Wife and I were interested in vacationing in the area but after reading several websites the impression that I'm left with is the town and outlying areas are distressed and dirty. Any recent first hand experience would be appreciated!Camping in Cody, WYWife and I are planning to visit Yellowstone this year. Has anyone out there home based from Cody,Wy. Does Cody offer enough entertainment, dining, daytime activities? Hows the drive to Yellowstone? All opinions are appreciated. Thanks
