Re: F53 460 Engine runs very poorly when heat soaked
We owned a 1996 Bounder 460 Ford. Had the same problem. When the engine got hot and we stopped it would not stay running. Had to be towed a few times but they could never find the problem because it cooled down. Had the fuel pump replaced (in the gas tank}. Ran well for several years.1.2KViews0likes0CommentsBatteries
We own a 2006 Fleetwood Bounder 32W, Ford chassis. Want to confirm the correct wiring of the house batteries. Wire from rear of MH connected to POS of rear battery, NEG of rear battery is connected to POS of front battery, NEG of front battery is connected to wire from front of MH. I had Atwood Levelegs jacks on my motorhome, the control module went bad and we could not find a replacement. Dometic nor Lippert had any. Sent it to a company that repairs electronics, said it was not repairable. Salvage yards had one for several hundrad dollar with no guarantee. Tried Ebay and Amazon, no luck.
