What is everyone using??I wanted to get rid of the converter and get an inverter and a better charger just to run the tv and small appliances so I don't have to run the gen if I'm off the grid. My issue now is I bought a used magnum 1000w inverter charger but it only has a 20 amp pass through relay for shore power instead of 30. It has the smart switch but with the low amperage I'm not sure how to route it to make it work. I know I should've got a 30 amp but the price was right.Anybody have a Xantrex inverter? What is everyone using??Thinking of getting the xantrex freedom HF 1800w modified wave inverter. Not too many reviews and it's a mixed bag really. The price is right but before I pull the trigger I was wondering what you all are using??Re: Tv turns off when key is onThank you for the Replys. Where the tv is mounted it is impossible to watch the tv while driving and there is no other 12v outlets available. I'm trying to avoid and ghetto wiring or cords strung out everywhere. I'll try and locate the relay and see if there is something I can do there.Tv turns off when key is onHello! New here and to motorhomes. I recently bought an El Monte Tioga 25G and would love some help figuring out how to be able to have the tv on for the kids while we're driving. It has a Jensen 12V tv and as soon as the key is turned to the on position the tv turns off. Is there a way to keep that hot without ripping the motor home apart?Re: Buying a Former Rental Class C. How many of us out there?Back from camping for a week and the coach did great! The tow/haul function worked great on the steep grades. Couldn't be happier. I do have a question on storing this thing. It's on my side yard and I have it plugged in and I'm wondering should I keep the refrigerator on or off and open? What's worse starting/stopping it or keeping it running??Re: Buying a Former Rental Class C. How many of us out there?Hello, great thread and the reason for my purchase of a 2009 Ranger 25G with 125,000 miles on it today. I bought it from El Monte in Dublin Ca. The salesman was great to deal with and the few small things I found were fixed no problem. We financed it through one of the banks they deal with and had competitive rates and terms. I got the maintenance records and they were extensive and one of the main reasons for going for it. I can't get the tv to turn on with the antenna so I'm not sure what the deal is there but I'm going to Mendocino next week for a week of abalone diving and fishing so I'll get a chance to really check this baby out. I'll check back in after and share how she did.Re: Purchase of Cruise America Rental Class CHello, great thread and the reason for my purchase of a 2009 Ranger 25G with 125,000 miles on it today.
