I think I am leaning towards adding a second 30 AMP shore power receptacle and running the 2nd AC off that. Does anyone know if two ACs will run on a 30A service if no other appliances or water heater are running? I dont expect to run these all the time, just on hot days where one might not be able to keep up.Re: For the electrical gurus. Getting 50 Amp off two outlets?I am considering buying a 5th wheel that has two air conditioning units with 50 amp service. The location where it will be placed permanently only has 30 AMP service, so I will not be able to run both at once. However, there is a standard outlet about 20 feet away from the camper that could technically give me the juice needed to un that 2nd AC when I need to. The question is - is it possible to somehow combine these two power sources into a single 50 AMP input? Its a bit easier on a boat because there are two separate input plugs.Re: Toilet Wont hold water in bowl after gasket replacement. Thanks for all the comments. I will try some of these tricks.Re: Toilet Wont hold water in bowl after gasket replacement. The parts guy at Camping World Advised against using any grease. However, I did spray all the gaskets and ball with Silicone spray.Toilet Wont hold water in bowl after gasket replacement.I just pulled apart my SeaLand toilet and replaced all the gaskets. I followed this video https://youtu.be/vi3TRivsNlQ . While I had it on the bench I poured a bottle of water in it. It held water just fine. After I re-installed and used it a couple of times it will not hold water anymore. Here is a video of the plastic ball moving. The water is off for season so I cant show much. It holds water for about a minute. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=py3gdeUQS7M What is the next troubleshooting step? I am thinking replace the ball with this kit -> http://a.co/6Yet91MCushions for DinetteHello, First time RV owner. Just picked up a 2008 Keystone 310 SRX Toyhauler. I really like it except for the seat cushions and back cushions around the dinette. I work on the laptop quite a bit and need something fairly comfortable. Also, the cushions move around to much and I am always fixing them putting them back in place. I hate them. Are there any places that specialize in making new ones that are designed better with comfort? Worked good all year on DC and AC. A couple of weeks ago I found it turned on but not cooling at all. It was pulled out and we found the compressor not working. Tested voltage to compressor while plugged into AC. It reads 24V with the right angle connector off and drops to 14.3V with connector clipped on the compressor. It is drawing amperage at 3.7A . Resistance was checked at 3.3 ohm The compressor is a Sawafuji SK-611M . EDIT: Found a service manual online and it said anything over 2.5A is a locked compressor and to replace cooling unit. Is a hard start an option ?
