Need adapter to convert P3 hitch to a standard ball mount
My TT has the Propride P3 hitch. I may have to leave the TT with a dealer. How will the dealer move the TT around if does not have the P3 stinger? How can I ensure the hitch is not damaged if moving with a forklift...etc? Below I'll attempt to reference a picture in another Propride thread that seems to have an adapter hitch that converts the P3 system to a standard ball mount. Any idea where I could purchase this? I am planning a long trip and plan to stay hitched at a few overnight stops. I know this has been mentioned before but how would I search for this subject? I have a Chevy 2500 and a 34' Grand Design TT. I have heard that I should unplug from the TV while overnighting, but should I put down four corner jacks? What about the power jack? I just received a ProPride 3P Adjustable Hitch Bar. My previous one was stolen before it was ever used. I do not have the original instructions and this one did not come with any. I think I just need to know the suggested height of the stinger. I can figure out where to put the bolts from other photos. Does anyone have instructions for assembling the ProPride 3P Adjustable Hitch Bar? I have a 2015 Chevy 2500 and a 2016 Grand Design Imagine 2950 if that matters. I had the same question. We just ordered a 34' with 800# tongue weight. Brief email from Propride suggested the (up to) 1400 would be best. I'm guessing because the 1200# bars might be exceeded after battery/propane/front storage filled. I'm guessing you will get equal amounts of recommendations about equalizer/anderson/blue ox/reese, but its a really a **** shoot after the top two.322Views0likes0CommentsNeed tire inflator to reach 30 feet?
Ordered the trailer! Now I'm looking for products to monitor and inflate the trailer tires. My current inflator will not reach (15 foot max) and I'm not even sure if it will inflate to trailer tire PSI's. I just ordered a Grand Design Imagine 2950. Here is the floorplan: https://www.granddesignrv.com/imagine2950-floor.php I wanted to order slide toppers for it, but they said it would not work because the awning would interfere with it. My question is how far does the slide topper need to extend beyond the slide to make it effective?
