All ActivityMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsRe: Steering StabilizerI added thicker rear sway bar, in addition to the stock front and rear ones. Rear Trac bar and front Safe-T-Steer. As above, lower tire pressure per manufacturer guidelines for the weight I run. Drives a lot better, one handed in crosswinds.Re: tire monitoring systemI just installed the EEZRV brand on coach and tow car. I bought the booster for back of rv, but seems to work well without it so far. Easy to program, or they will do for you. I couldn't figure out how to drop off car when needed, and emailed them. They answered on a Sat night.Re: Rear Trac Bar over time on F-53I installed the super steer rear Trac bar from Henderson, and the 230 Safe-T-Plus on the front. Test drive went well, makes coach feel heavier with less input at steering wheel. Heading out tomorrow for a 12 day, 2 weekend college football trip. Also added EEZRV TPMS for coach and tow car.Re: Rear Trac Bar over time on F-53WyoTraveler Thanks for your comments. I have actually seen you on some of the threads Ive been reading. Correction, on my original post, I meant to say I'll prob at the Safe-T-Plus, not Steer. So many names out there hard to keep them straight.Rear Trac Bar over time on F-53All Iam considering rear trac bar for my 38' f-53 rv. My question is, based on how it is mounted to the rear differential, has it caused any damage to it over time? Overall, my ride is not bad, as I have stock sway bars and added a Hellwig to the rear, but esp when towing 4 down, etc, still room for improvement. Maybe add Safe-T-Steer too? Thanks!!Dallas to South Rim AZAll Mid April heading to Lake Havasu and South Rim of Grand Canyon, rt 66 sites, etc. Thinking of maybe going out 1-40 then loop around to I-10 home or vice versa to mix it up. Wanting to know basic road conditions, rough, lots of traffic etc. Easiest drive. ThanksRe: RV on beach Gulf of MexicoCampgulf.com. only one ON the beach.Re: My 50th Bday out westThanks for the comments. Maybe we will split this trip up and stay sound part first. For some reason my wife wants us back home by the actual bday too.My 50th Bday out westHi all Turning 50 in late April, and I have really been wanting to take a long trip, for first time to Grand Canyon, Mt Rushmore, and Yellowstone. Leaving and returning to DFW area. I really don't want to go during busy times, and of course when safe to travel. What are your thoughts and experiences during a late april or early May to any or all of these locations. ThanksRe: leveling a class a motorhomeI think I have the same RV you do. It does not have to be perfectly level for the refrig to work ok. If you only use the AUTO level, you may have any of the wheels come off the ground. As stated above never the rear wheels. What I usually do is use the MANUAL setting on your leveler and just do what you are ok with, and keep all four on the ground.
