I believe that most cover damage is caused by hi winds which I don'tencounter here. The one thing am impressed with the new cover is that it has 11 under belly straps and my trailer box is 25 FT. long. With that many strap I should have no wind problems and the trailer will be clean in the spring. The one bit of advise would be when removing the cover, do so in a manner that allows you to install the cover by putting it on roof and unrolling it from front to back and the just pull the sides down.honda 2000 watt gen vibrationI have a 2kw Honda generator which is about six years old. Up until a couple of years ago I always carried the Gen. in the bed of the rig and when needed put it at the back of the trailer. Got tired of moving the gen. I fabricated a carrier shelf attached to modified bumper and strapped the gen. to it so wouldn't have to move it,just pluged cable in and started it. My problem is the generator vibrates a great deal and makes a great deal of noise inside the trailer. So my question is has anyone mounted a 2Kwatt Honda gen. to a mount on the back bumper and if so did you have a lot of vibration noise? I wonder if my gen.has a balance problem or is this normal?Re: Stands/Jacks under the slide outsI fabricated a pair a number of years ago, but only use them if we are having more than 4 people in the trailer. Have not had any problems. If one is parked on a soft surface I won't use them.Re: Storage cover for winterI have just replaced my cover in Oct. after using it for 12 years. I replaced it because it was getting a little "thread bare" and had two small rips in it. I use the Adco fitted covers because they fit well also the new one has 11 under belly tie down straps which should keep the wind from damaging the cover. I might add where I park the trailer it is fairly well shaded which might add to it's longevity .Re: Need help winterizingI have a 2002 Mallard probably the same or very similar to yours. My hot water tank is under the stove and is acessed from under the sink. It didnot have the bypass valves installed, had to install the bypass valves myself. It was quite a project, with a lot of one handed operations as there is little room to operate in,but is well worth the effort. I purchased the bypass kit from a RV repair shop. Hope this helps.Re: How tight?I level trailer side to side with boards under low side wheels. Then I put down pads under each jack then take them down till tight and then go one more turn. Old aircraft mechanic method.Re: HEY we need a sticky for our TT pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Test I Dun-it
