I can only tell you, my brochure and information say Mobile Suites Titan and it has 6k axles. It's been a great camper for us. Has had some minor problems but seems like they all do. Thanks for sharing.Re: Need Wheels help/ no tires, promisRusty: ours is a 30" Titan series, came with 6k lb. axles and Goodyear 225/75 tires. Wheels are 16" and I have replaced them with an aluminum spoked wheel each rated at 3960 lbs. and 110 lbs. pressure. I replaced the Goodyear tires with Michelins 285/75 as indicated earlier. This should actually give me a stronger set up as before. Thanks so much for your help.Re: Need Wheels help/ no tires, promisSorry for not getting back. Yes, the wheels were leaking air. The 5er is a Mobile Suites and definitely not overloaded. I've learned a lot about wheels over the past days and was able to find some aluminum spoke wheels, not offset that fit great. The old wheels just began to leak, on our last trip, 3 of the 5 I had on our way home. The valve stems were fine. Rusty, that is interesting about the bad batch of 16" wheels as that is what I had. The wheels I got were rated at 110# 3960 lb. weight. They should work fine. Thanks to all of you for your help and best wishes.Re: Augusta RVCan speak well of Flint Hills in the same area.Need Wheels help/ no tires, promisWe recently returned from a 4k trip and had a great time. On the way home, we had a flat tire so I stopped to get it repaired. Turned out the wheel had begun to leak. I checked a 2nd tire and it was low and we found the same problem. Two out of 5 wheels leaking tells me it is time to make some changes. The sticker on our camper says I need wheels rated for 3000 lbs. and I have found some American Racer AW23 that have the same rating. My question is, is 3000 lb. really enough or am I missing something. My tires are fine, but the wheels have to go. Thanks for your help and best wishes.Re: Backup Camera ?I just bought a unit from Rear View Safety that uses a magnet to attach to the camera wherever you want it. The screen sets in the truck and plugs into the cigarette lighter. It is wireless. My plan is just to use it for hitching the trailer. I have not used it yet but if you want to pm me in a week I can let you know what I think of it.Trailer brakesI don't have much experience with trailer brakes and relative maintenance. Today I removed one of my wheels and noticed some kind of oily black powder residue around the wheel. I assume the powdery stuff is brake residue form a brake shoe dragging slightly but don't know if I should be concerned. The wheel turns freely, does not appear to have been hot and the brake works properly. Should I look deeper into this or is it OK IYO. Also any thoughts on how many miles one might get out of factory brakes. I have about 6000 on my trailer now. Thanks for looking and best wishes.Re: f250 4x4 crew cab weightUS out west; Real close, thanks.f250 4x4 crew cab weightThis topic has been moved to another forum.
