I have no interest in a divorce or missing my rig for a few months while it's getting repairs just to try and save a few minutes if drive time. We'll just find a spot out of the park this year. Thanks for all your advice!Fishing Bridge Campground YellowstoneI we are planning on going to Yellowstone next summer in August sometime. I thought about spending a couple days at Fishing Bridge but the only sites left are for rigs 35' and under. I have a Class A that is 35' 11". Do I dare try it or would that be a mistake? Thanks in advanceTowing question/help with new rigOk so I'm shopping around to get my first motorhome moving up from a travel trailer. I've been leaning toward a gas class A until recently when I saw that the newer Class C's with the E450 have a 7500# hitch and towing capacity. I would like to tow 4 down but with that many kids my choices are limited. I currently have a 1500 Suburban that I could tow 4 down but of course they are heavy and I wouldn't be able to do that unless I went Diesel in the Class A. I was going to get a Ford Explorer which would work with the class A but that would mean I would have to buy that in addition as I still want to keep the suburban. Current specs on the one I've been looking at (2016 Coachman Leprechaun 319DS) shows a GVWR of 14500 and a GCWR of 22000. With the Suburban coming in around 6000# It would seem by the numbers that I would be ok. Granted I realize that I wouldn't be breaking any records going up hills and gas mileage would suffer and of course would need a good supplemental breaking etc, but is there something I'm missing or a reason that I would regret it? If I go this route the rig will cost me $30k less than the class A I was looking at and I save another $25k in not having to buy an additional rig. Appreciate your input in advanceRe: 2 speed transfer caseIt's a 2014 LT, they come in both a single and 2 speed transfer, Mine is a single speed so according to the manual it cannot be towed 4 down. I'm not overly attached to it. Unfortunately just bought it a couple months ago though so didn't want to go through finding another one if i didn't have to. Its still under manufacturers warranty so I don't want to do anything that would void that. I just didn't know if its a matter of swapping one thing out for another for under $2-3k? Sounds like might be a little more involved than that. Appreciate the input2 speed transfer caseOk so I'm very ignorant when it comes to anything car related. I'm in the beginning stages of looking at a diesel class A with the intention of finding one that I could tow my 2014 4x4 suburban with. I was just reviewing the dinghy guide and realized that mine doesn't have a 2 speed transfer case. Again showing my ignorance... is this something that can be swapped out or am I just better looking to trade it for one that does?
