That's part of the reason why I'm no longer in the 805, and even with the TC towing my boat I had to follow the stupid 55 while towing law, so it's nothing new. :)New to the Fiver forumHi all, just wanted to introduce myself to the 5th wheel forum, as a recent convert from a huge Truck Camper, I can honestly say the difference is amazing, no more sway issues, and a happy non white knuckled wife for a passenger. I hope I can help contribute to this forum as I did in the TC forum, and hope to gain lots of info from all you vets. Our first trip towing this 33 foot trailer was over 3100 miles in the span of 12 days, with a combination of dry camping and full hook ups, no major problems aside from the fact that we had been in the same RV for the past 10 years, and everything had it's place, things are now stored in new places and I'm still trying to figure out where I can fit stuff. hope to find the same combo of comedy and info on this forum.A Fond FarewellTo the Truck Camper forum anyhow... Just a quick thanks to all on this forum for much info gained, I hope I have contributed my fair share as well. Thanks for the info and comedy, I will miss the "Weight Police" and for that reason I may stick my head in from time to time. I hate to sell the Beast, but at this time with my teenage daughter dragging a friend or two it was just getting too small, (I know a nearly 12' camper too small?) We broke down and bought a new Puma 295 5th wheel with rear bunkhouse and outdoor kitchen, took our first trip this summer. Eastern sierra, Mt. Shasta, Oregon, southern WA, Idaho, Montana, Yellowstone, Utah, and back to Vegas. 3100 miles 10 days seven states, and over 200 truck campers counted through out the trip. Thanks Again and I'll be checking in from time to time from the 5er forum 2naRe: Smarter Tools Inverter Generator at Costco?since this thread is a few months old, I was wondering if anyone has been able to parallel this smarter tools 2000 with a Honda 2000 inverter? I too saw this unit at Costco and was wondering if it would work with the Honda Cable kit.Re: Honda 2000i Carb Job With Photos Must Read!!!!!Great write up, and photos too. just got done doing this to mine as well, there is only one thing I can add is before re-assembly, remember to clean and oil the foam air filter. And always drain the carb bowl after use, this will eliminate many problems with this generatorRe: Photo Thread - Post a Photo of Your Truck Camper HereCave Lake State Park near Ely Nevada Re: What's behind the name?
