Ready to Upgrade! Need input! - 2018 Forest River FR3 32DS MA - 1900 Miles. We just sold our 2003 Fleetwood Southind 36RS. We absolutely loved it, we were 2nd owner and put 29,000 miles on it in 9 years. We were sad to sell it but we were starting to see too much wear from being 16 years old. Soooooo sad. We always wanted a bunk house but couldn't afford it. We have a 15 and 13 year old boy and girl and they now want to bring friends with us. We also have a 25 pound spoiled rotten cairn terrier. We have been looking for more sleeping area. Want to know if anyone has that model 2018 Forest River FR 3 32 DS or know anyone who has one?? How do you think that compares to our 2003 Fleetwood southwind- 36RS, it was such a great coach and the only one we have ever owner- so many memories All good. thank you all. Coach batteries are two years old and plates inside were dry. filled with water and plugged into shore power I have 6.5 volts on each battery. letting them charge a few days on shore power and then will test again.. And yes I do own a multimeter and waffle iron battery tester just did not have on road trip. my rig is 2003 Fleetwood southwind. I just timed it, when I shut generator off 12v power lasted 2 minutes lights went dim at 2mins then all power was lost at 2 mins 5 secs. when all power goes, I have to start engine on truck to even start generator. Where does power to start generator come from??? Coach batteries or truck battery??143Views0likes0Comments
