RTerRe: Coleman Air not working. After further troubleshooting, I have determined that the neutral wire is open between the circuit breaker and the air conditioner. It looks like it is next to impossible to fish a wire from the basement to the ceiling in one of these campers. Does anyone have any experience trying to do this?Re: Coleman Air not working. It is dead quiet. I will try to get to the back of the electric panel and measure the voltage at the breaker. RTerColeman Air not working. My '03 Jayco Designer Legacy has a Coleman Mach air conditioner in the front location. Manual control, no thermostat. It worked fine on Monday, no issues. When I attempted to turn it on yesterday, it was completely dead, no fan, nothing. I checked the breaker and the pedestal, no problems. I dropped the inside shroud and measured 98 volts at the connection. I then went to an outlet and measured 120 volts. What am I missing? Even if there is only 98 volts at the unit, shouldn't the blower at least operate? Thanks, RTerRe: Bent awning arm. What now?Carefree referred me to RV Awnings in Florida. I spoke to them on the phone yesterday evening and I believe they are going to be able to get me going. Thanks, RTerBent awning arm. What now?I was attempting to put out the awning on our 2003 Jayco Designer Legacy on Saturday and it was not extending all the way. When I pulled down on the forward arm to help it, the arm bent. The part of the arm that slides in and out of the lower arm is what bent. Now it is impossible to put the awning up or down. Does anyone know if there are major replacement parts for these old Carefree of Colorado awnings?Re: Disc Brake QuestionsAlso keep in mind that the electric/hydraulic powerpack is running when your foot is on the brake, so if you are at a long stoplight or something, use neutral and the parkbrake so you don't overheat the powerpack. RTerRe: Cost of Rhino liner Spray On RV Roof ?I don't mean to steal your topic, but has anyone ever looked into doing their own fiberglass roof? RTerRe: FORD F350 6.0 DieselThe 2003 6.0 is probably one of the best year models to own. I have an '03 and the only thing I have done besides regular wear and tear maintenance is to replace the EGR cooler and oil cooler at 134K miles. Those two items are the ones that will get you in trouble on the early 6.0s. I'm now at 158K miles and could not imagine having to go out and buy a new truck for what they now cost. RT'er
