Granted I don't have double pane Windows ( which would be nice ) just standard Windows. We camped this weekend and lows were around 30 and highs were only 45 so I typically run a ceramic heater as much as I can to save on propane but the furnace would occasionally kick on to keep it toasty inside - about 70 degrees. Ever so often I would take a bath towel and wipe the windows down because of all the condensation. Water would actually be standing in the bottom metal frame of the window. I've tried opening a window on each side of the camper just a little but that didn't seem to help either. I've read somewhere that you could put saran wrap on the Windows - didn't know if that would work or not - seems like that would be a lot of work considering the blinds and all you would have to contend with. Just looking for advise from the pros. Thanks again and happy camping.Rubber roof cleaningWas just wandering how most of you clean your rubber roof. I generally Get on top of mine at the beginning of camping season - mid summer and late fall. I usually just always use Thretford rubber roof cleaner and a scrub brush. Even though our camper is always under a camper awning, the roof still gets very dirty. There are several places that has what looks like little black mold dots that are very hard to remove. I only want to use products that want hurt or remove the wax finish off the fiberglass. I didn't know if a electric pressure washer would help or could harm the roof - that in itself could be a chore to get on top. Just wanted to see what most folks used to keep their rubber roof looking new. Thanks and happy camping to all.Rear stabilizers stop workingHello fellow campers I need your help. Our camping season has kicked off and with that was able get our first trip in this weekend. Our camper has the rear stabilizers that will go down / up with the push of a rocker switch located at the rear of the camper. Never had a issue but as I was lowering I paused about halfway down to readjust the blocks that I place under them and when I pushed the rocker button to extend - nothing happened. I tried to retract and nothing happened. Wouldn't work either way. No problem I just lowered them manually but was just wondering what do I need to check. Talked to a friend who said it could be a blown fuse or just a loose wire. Thanks for your help.Re: Best place to camp in piegon forge TN Will be first timePine Mountain RV ParkRe: Electric Brakes for Fifth Wheeletrailer.com That's where I bought mine. Great price - great serviceRe: Tire Pressure Monitoring SystemsI wouldn't travel without mine.Question concerning condensationI went to check on the camper this morning and noticed that there was some condensation inside the camper. Here is the details. The camper stays parked underneath a covered shed - I have the roof vents raised and the side windows are rolled out about 1 inch so that air can circulate throughout the camper. The lows here have been around 40-45 and the highs around 55. Granted we do have high humidity right now. My question is - should I leave the camper open ( windows rolled out and roof vents raised ) or would it be better for me to completely close it up tight since it is under a covered shed ? I'm going to get a bucket of damp rid to go inside of it also to see if that helps. Thanks for any input or suggestions.Re: Help with MicrowaveForgive me but I'm not sure what gfci is. I checked the main breaker and the breaker that was for the microwave and all was good. Again I took the microwave out and plugged into another outlet but nothing happened. Also plugged in here at the house - still nothing.Help with MicrowaveNot sure what has happened to our microwave so I'm bringing it to the pro's. On our last trip out we were cooking some potatoes in the micro when it just stopped. Clock - everything went out as if the microwave was unplugged. The first thing I checked was the breaker - all good. So today I was able to pull it out. It was still plugged in to the outlet. I plugged it into another outlet but nothing happened. Is there a fuse on the inside of the microwave that I could check - trying to avoid having to get another. It is a HighPointe model # EM925RSL Thanks for any help. Time for new tires - HelpWell it's time to do the necessary evil of purchasing new tires. The tires I currently have will be 5 years old this November and I've already had to replace one tire because of a broken belt and discovered today that I have another tire with a broken belt The tires that I currently have are Tomax ST235/80r16. I would like to try a different brand of tire. Also what about LT tires. That is what is on my truck and they are a Michelin MX2 which is a 10 ply tire. Would those work or should I stick with a ST tire. Just looking for some guidance - this is certainly not my area of expertice. Thanks in advance !!!!!
