I don't mind the spiders around here, they are harmless but I was thinking of snow birding it this winter, don't want to have to deal with those poisonous spiders down south! I would never spray inside but I would spray the ground around my site and around the outside of the slide and all Windows and doors. I do this at my stick house and It really helps. There are lots of spiders around here but I found about 6 in a two week period and I thought that was a little excessive is all. I have a nice little tiny one with a web above my shower in the skylight. He is Ok, I let him be because I notice the flying insects are attracted to the shower area for some reason. However the bigger ones I'm not so fond of.Re: Rigs Over 40 FeetJust double tow a small utility trailer! spiders/insects getting into 5th wheel, common?Finding a few spiders and flying insects occasionally. Not sure where they are getting in. Around the slide maybe? All my windows and vents appear secure. The only thing I can think of is around the rubber flap around the slide as there are some trim pieces that bump out that it goes over. Anyone else have this problem? Is it common? Is there some area I may have overlooked? Anything I can do to stop it besides spraying pesticide around my site and the slide and Windows?Re: Going to an RV park for the first time ?A Million things probably. I was making runs to the store my first three trips out, lol! I'm on my 3rd now, seasonal spot, longer you go the more stuff you remember you forgot!Re: First time as a seasonal camper Mik68 wrote: SultanGris wrote: Any dog can bite, I guarantee you there are many breeds that bite people more often than dobermans do. Exactly my point! You misunderstand my point. I'm not saying no Doberman will ever bite, but I am saying there are lots of breeds way more likely to bite than a Doberman is. You should really get to know one, they are the best dogs ever. Go watch some YouTube vids about them, there are tons with little kids climbing all over them pulling their ears and the Dobes don't care. They really are awesome friendly dogs unless their owners have trained them to be mean or havnt properly socialized them. Every dog will be mean and territorial if you lock it up all the time or if it's never around other people or dogs. You shouldn't single out a breed and discriminate against them because the owners are morons and you don't know anything about them except for your one negative experience. If you are a dog person or like any dogs at all and were ever around my doberman I guarantee you would change your mind about them and probably get one yourself. They really are the best pets ever and I miss mine terribly.Re: Dumped slinky recoveryI just took mine off and flushed it with clean water.Re: First time as a seasonal camper SultanGris wrote: Mik68 wrote: SultanGris wrote: Some people are scared of Dobermans but they dont know anything about them, they have only heard bad things. How many times have I heard that one? :W And "it's OK, he/she doesn't bite" And next thing you know it's latched onto your leg.:E A Doberman did exactly this to my dad, a big chunk, needed skin graphs. That's why im scared of them. :( Any dog can bite, I guarantee you there are many breeds that bite people more often than dobermans do. Oops, meant to edit, not quote. This forum is set up weird using some outdated software or something, it fails to post the first word I type every time so i have to edit every post I make, highly annoying!Re: First time as a seasonal camper Mik68 wrote: SultanGris wrote: Some people are scared of Dobermans but they dont know anything about them, they have only heard bad things. Worked for me. Fridge is cold and freezer is even colder than before. Go figure. When I said turn it up, that means temp up or warmer. Jerry Ok, that makes more sense. I wouldn't try it with any other make though unless it was really light. Not to DA here, Are those wheels tough enough for the weight the truck is handling? I had an aluminum spoked wheel crack and fail after towing a Bobcat on a steel trailer with a previous Ford pick-up. , they are actually rated higher than the stock rims. I just got the trailer this year but have pulled it about 500 miles so far with no issues, even hitting potholes. My 5er is only around 7500 pounds I think, forget exactly.
