It's like the floor was cut purposely like this for whatever reason. It's very odd!Re: Flooring Under Dinette (Pictures)Thanks. I’ll try to post the pictures again from a computer.Flooring Under Dinette (Pictures) We bought a brand new Four Winds Hurricane some 12 years ago and began updating the interior. We removed the dinette completely as we’re adding a corner chair there instead. We’re ready to start pulling up carpet to replace the flooring when we discovered that underneath the dinette table, the flooring is not level, it’s last an incline, like a ramp. Now I understand why it was impossible for two people to sit on one side of the dinette bench, because there was no leg room. They had a carpet pad on top on the floor carpet, so we didn’t realize the floor was like that. It’s also steel, so it cannot be removed. We’re trying to figure out why it was designed this way? The slide out is also not a straight line, making remodel more difficult. I’ve never seen a slide out this way in other remodels I’ve looked at. Any thoughts? And we’re replacing the floor with vinyl planks. Connie Re: Campground Near Savannah/I-95Thank you! I'd forgotten about the KOA.Campground Near Savannah/I-95It's just going to be an overnight stay, but I don't want to stay at a dump either. I've looked online and read reviews and can't seem to find a decent campground to stop at on our trip home. I'd like to stay near I-95 if possible. Any suggestions? Thanks!December in TN/NC Mountains SuggestionsI'm thinking about taking our motor home to NC or TN to the mountains so that our daughter can see snow and go sledding, tubing, etc. We live in FL and have been to Mama Gerties (loved it) and to Townsend KOA. Where is the most convenient campground to a location where we can do snow activities that's also accessible in the winter conditions in a motor home? We also go to the mountains in the summer, so I'm unfamiliar with going when the roads might be icy (we're Floridians). Thanks!Re: Power in Only Part of RVUpdate: loose connection at the converter. We had someone come out to our campsite and when he took the panel off the power came back on. We made it through the rest of our vacation with A/C and full power (lights would dim occasionally) but we're going to replace the converter before our next trip. We appreciate everyone's quick response and help!Re: Power in Only Part of RVWe can't start the engine with the slides out and we can't put in the slides with no power. The camp ground worker is checking their power source. Thanks!Re: Power in Only Part of RVThanks for the reply. We have 50 amp RV and are plugged into 50 amp shore power. We cave a 2006 Fourwinds Hurricane 34B. The coach house battery disconnect is unlit and nothing happens if I turn on and off. I tried the reset button in the battery control center, didn't do anything. I reset the converter breaker, nothing happened. I don't have a voltmeter.Re: Power in Only Part of RVOur generator died just as we were arriving the camp ground. Thanks for the tips we'll check it out.
