On the serious side, I own a sports media company and we purchased the MH primarily for corporate promo at shows. Getting to use it for personal camping use is a bonus. The LED light package is part of our game night presentation. We will have a drop screen and project our StreamTV to the crowds. But the LED's fit right in along Ocean Blvd golf cart cruising. It was a hit. Installing them was no major effort outside of splicing 6 separate strands of lights into one controller. But the guys at Boogie Lights were very supportive.Installed new LED lighting under chassisJust completed new Boogie Lights LEDs installation under the chassis of our MH. This was last week at Lakewood Campground on Ocean Blvd. The FOBs allow you to change color combinations and presentations. You can also download their app to control from your smartphone. We just returned Sunday from a 10 day vacation that included a week at Myrtle Beach. Getting ready to head out again Friday for 4 more days at Beech Fork Lake in WV. The only things that slow us down is... $$$ Jobs kids RV maintenance House maintenance Getting reservations (parks are packed)Re: Campgrounds in / near Pittsburgh, PA Bouvie dogs wrote: Thanks for the rental car idea. It just never occurred to me. Now to find a rental car agency out of town, not at an airport, where I can park the RV. That will make this so much easier. Some rental car agencies like Enterprise at some locations will drop the car to you. You would need to check on this by calling the location office. If not, you can rent the vehicle from an accessible location at a surrounding town like Washington, PA. You have unlimited mileage anyway.Re: Lakewood Campground, Myrtle B. RV sites questionThanks everyone for the prompt replies. This is all helpful information as this will be our first time RVing at the beach. We have tried to get our site # out of them a couple of times and they keep telling us that they don't give out site #s until check-in. But they do promise we have ocean front site near the indoor pool. So far since we have purchased our MH this spring, we have booked with four different campgrounds and all four have moved us or asked to move us. Also thanks for the heads up on the ants. We'll try to install a "ring of death" around our coach. LOL.Lakewood Campground, Myrtle B. RV sites questionWe have a trip planned soon to Lakewood Campground in Myrtle Beach. Our site is at the ocean front. (not sure if this is good or bad) Does anyone know which direction the rigs are parked along the ocean front? Do most RVs open toward the ocean or toward inland? Inland would avoid morning sun and ocean winds. Facing ocean would provide optimum view and avoid evening sun. Just wondering if anyone has stayed there and noticed which direction rigs are opening towards.Re: Campgrounds in / near Pittsburgh, PAThis is a good thread for us. Living in Charleston, WV about 3.5 hours away, we'd like to visit soon. We've visited before via hotel but not by RV. I would think the safest bet is to stay outside the city and rent a car or cab. $30 some a day for a car rental is a small price for the convenience safety. That said, we can't figure why more cities and towns don't encourage short-term inner-city RV parks. These would be great to promote the local attractions and businesses. With all the vacant property in urban areas, one would think it's a opportunity.Re: Location if AC Dash Air Drain 06 HR Navigator??I think you guys may be indirectly solving my own dash AC problem. I have a 2005 Coachmen Santara MH and the dash air isn't blowing cold. Had it checked this week by a local garage and they say the AC unit is blowing cold but something is preventing that air from getting to the dash ducts. I'm wondering if I have a blockage in the drain hose that has backed up and preventing the cold air from getting through?Re: Condensation in dual pane windowsThanks to everyone for the quick replies to my question. For me, replacing the windows is a last resort as one that is affected is part of a 3 panel piece next to passenger seat. It is sold as one piece and would be super expensive. MountainAir05's suggestion sounds the most feasible but I will want to investigate further. The DaveRootRVrepair.com lead looks like a safe bet for under $300 for the kit.Condensation in dual pane windowsI have a 2005 Coachmen Santara 3690ts that has developed condensation between at least 3 of the windows. I understand there is a process to get rid of this by drilling a small hole in corners of the window and flushing. That said, a local window tech said this can't be done on the coach because it is tempered glass. Is there another process that can be used?
