Everyone on her team grew up in an active RV household and their idea stems from it. It is basically Class A Motorhomes that also punch other Motorhomes and walls to get around. If only our motorhome had that feature:) She and her team keep getting awards for it, so maybe it would be available someday. We’ll see, but you can enjoy it on YouTube though. RV PunchRe: R.I.P. SullyI am saddened to just find out about his passing. I have been an active member in the earlier years of the forum and have taken a break since I sold my motorhome two and half years back. Today I saw an old post from Sully in '06, so I did a search to see what he has been up to lately. Imagine my disappointment when I came across this post. You'll be missedRe: LP leaking when I turn on valve...I had this problem on my 1993 Itasca too. It won't leak if you open it all the way or close it all the way. Whichever way you turn it, make sure it is done tightly.Re: Oxygenics Shower QuestionThe Oxygenics shower head is great, their hose connections are of poor quality. This is a common issue. They crack at the collar and start squirting everywhere. I've replaced mine twice.Re: comparing our coaches - read only if you are bored oldmattb wrote: Foretravel Grand Villa 1994 Bad: Ours had a suspension clunk I could never remedy When the suspension begins to sag, the Torsilastic suspension re-do gets expensive if the shims have been used up. Small shower for a big coach. The door is always cold when it hits your butt! Our exhaust brake was not integrated into the transmission – manual downshifting on hills. We loathed the original-issue pink, magenta and brothel décor. Tiny starting battery holder required two side-mounted gel batteries to start the engine properly Propane generator – parts obsolete Gelcoat outside looked shabby pretty quickly without care. Low to the ground – had an aftermarket cage to protect transmission, which hit bottom several times Air governor was very hard to replace. Outside storage bins opened to about 90 degrees. Water pump seized, hydraulic pump failed grandly, Allison computer failed suddenly. Intermittent cruise control. Despite size, layout in front seemed cramped. Matt B This is a rare review from a Foretravel owner. Most Foretravel owners seem to gush about their units. A Foretravel will be my next RV some day.Re: Repair Shop Wait Times. What was the longest wait?It is at a Bergys Truck Repair. They have a large facility with about 20 bays. It just bothers me that such a big place can be so slow and unresponsive. They are the biggest around and seem to be unconcerned about my business. As it stands, they've removed one of my calipers a month or two ago, so I couldn't drive it elsewhere even if I wanted to. Maybe a mobile mechanic could save the day.Repair Shop Wait Times. What was the longest wait? How long have had you had your motorhome in the shop for? I brought my rig in on July 13th for some brake work and a new alternator. It took them 3 weeks to even look at it. Another 8 weeks later, they conceded that they couldn't locate new calipers. It took me 5 minutes of web searching. I gave them the parts and now they are still dragging their feet. They are the only game in town, otherwise I'd go anywhere else. I'd do it myself, but I don't have the heavy equipment for it.Re: What Constitutes Vintage Class AYes, a big thumbs up on that '77 Apollo!Re: Generator/airconditioningYes, even some 1000-watt generators have been able to power a 5600 BTU window unit.Re: My Motion Activated Alarm SystemOh, I'm sorry. I can't come to the door right now. I'm afraid that in my weakened condition, I could take a nasty spill down the stairs and subject myself to further school absences. You can reach my parents at their places of business. Thank you for stopping by. I appreciate your concern for my well-being. Have a nice day!
