I JUST did that - got rid of my fairly new 4 slide machine - built on a good chassis.. and went with a little older Prevost (Marathon) - with no slides! I've had no slides, 2 slides, 4 slides, and now back to no slides. Or you can go with a little older Prevost with 2 slides. I was just tired of mechanisms that quit when real inconvenient. And Prevost's are built for a million miles - mine had 88k when I purchased it - just really broke in engine wise. IMHO - the way to go... >>>Rod<<<Re: Leave frig on?Thanks everyone.Leave frig on?I just got a "new to me" motorhome. This is the first coach that I've had, that had a home frig in it. So when I'm not using the coach, do I leave the frig on, or go ahead and turn it off? The coach is always plugged in, so that's not an issue. It's just the idea of an empty frig being on all the time, but also, turning a house frig on and off every so often. TIA, >>>Rod<<<Re: Allison Tranny FluidThanks for the feedback. I had never heard of replacing tranny fluid with oil either. But the sticker looks professional, and thought maybe Allison had "issues" with the tranny and the heavy rigs, requiring a heavier weight fluid. i sell AMSOIL, so if I do change, it will be the AMSOIL product. I will call Allison, and see what the deal is...Allison Tranny Fluidi just bought a new to me coach. it is a 1998 chassis since im not home right now, dont know which allison it has. however when i did my walk around, it has a big sticker that the dexron 2 fluid has been replaced with engine oil (15-40). the dealer indicated that a lot of coaches did this to have smoother shifts? is that because of dextron2 vs newer dextron 3, or transynd? better to just leave it, or upgrade to transynd? tia >>>Rod<<<
