My cousin bought a used 41 ft diesel Class A last year. A 2010 Damon Tuscany with a Cummins engine. She was using antifreeze but not leaking it. Bad head gasket. She was charged $11,600 to fix it. Sounds high to me,don't it?

What year did the RV manufacturers start putting the new Ford V8 into the class Cs. My brother has that motor in a 2021 Super Duty pickup and gets 14+ mpg average. That old V 10 has been around just about forever. So, what do you think?
When I first bought a Class A (1999 33 ft National SeaBreeze) In around 2007, I thought that it rode terrible. I had new Monroe shocks put on it. Noticed absolutely no difference
Thanks all....I've been looking at Mercedes with Sprinter diesel chassis and all usually have LP generators (3600) watts. I assume the Ford transit diesel chassis is similar ,unless it has the V6 gasoline engine.
My old'99 Ford F53 Class A chassis with the V 10 and 4 speed trans was doing about 2600 RPM at 60 mph in overdrive. What can I expect from a Class C ,E 450 6 or 5 speed at 60?
