Then the cab window cover for privacy can be installed. Because the coach it self is wider than the van front, the mirror arms are very long and are jointed at the van body. That joint is where the Velcro is. The mirrors are good and there is no problem with adjusting the mirrors. The arm joint where it is attached to the van is the problem. I tried to post a picture ... tried ... but not able ... the 1000 words will need to suffice ... Thank you for responding ...velcro that holds mirror arms needs replacedThe mirror arms on my 1998 E-450 (with 40k miles) Coachman Santara 29S no longer holds the mirrors out in the driving position, while going down the road. This is very awkward when driving solo, or when "co-pilot" is napping. It appears that the Velcro "holds" need replaced. Anyone know about this and how to remedy. It looks like a simple "fix". But, I have attempted "simple fixes" before, ending up with a real mess. Both sides need refastened to the driving position. Is this something that the RV people need to work on, or something an old man can do? Any thoughts are appreciated, we just bought this and plan to run the wheels off it, God willing. '
