I got a higher end OBDlink lx reader and the software that comes with it isn't picking up trans temp. I also got the Torque app, but can't seem to get that reading it either. EDIT - I got it working with the custom 1E1C PID .. thanks !Re: RV Fuel Issues & Prices - Post 'Em Here!$1.86 here in Russellville, Arkansas.Re: Yellowstone in September bobsallyh wrote: Dunraven Pass was closed last night. My daughter will LOVE it :) Toad is a Jeep Wrangler so we'll be able to get around OK. Thanks ...Re: Adding Step Switch / Need Wiring Diagram for FleetwoodGot the job done, had to patch over 12v to that line but it's all good. Very happy with Fleetwood Inc, they emailed me a wiring diagram for the coach really fast. There was an existing (but unused) connect point and fuse for the step disable switch. Good service.Re: Adding Step Switch / Need Wiring Diagram for FleetwoodI got that part done, what I need is the wiring in the coach to see where the supply is sourced, because Fleetwood didn't make the 12v switch line live.Adding Step Switch / Need Wiring Diagram for FleetwoodMy 2013 Fleetwood Jamboree 25k has a kwikee fold out step, but it (oddly) doesn't appear to have a disable switch, like I've seen in pretty much every other rig. The switch is what you would turn the step off with when you are parked somewhere so it isn't going in and out every time you exit / enter the coach, you'd just put the step out then turn the switch off. Anyhooo .. it looks like the white wire on the 4 pin harness is where the switch goes, but Fleetwood doesn't appear to have carried the 12v down to the header that I need for that switch I'm going to install. TL,DR does anybody know if Fleetwood gives out wiring diagrams for these things ? The set of books I have from Fleetwood is just generic RV info, nothing specific to this model.Re: Yellowstone in SeptemberThat's great info, thanks guys !Yellowstone in SeptemberWe're about to head for Yellowstone National Park, have reservations at Madison for 3 nights. Being mid to late September, it's gunna be cooooooold at night, low 30's. Rules say you can only run generator between 8 AM and 8 PM, so I'm hoping somebody here knows if my propane heat will run on battery power all night, after a good charge for a few hours during the day. House battery setup is (2) 6v Interstate batteries. RV is a 2013 27 foot Fleetwood Jamboree 25k. Any thoughts appreciated ! Thanks.Re: Stink from new(ish) RVWater level on the batteries was fine. It's not propane or septic, those are different smells and I'm sure I'd be able to tell what those are. Here's my current theory : Running fridge on battery / propane for 48 hours continuous depleted the battery charge state such that when I got back in the rig to leave, the charging unit (whatever that may be) said "oh wow, batteries are down, better charge them up pronto !" and began to charge them at a rate higher than is prudent. Caused *some* overheating / boil off / sulfur smell until the batteries charge level came up then the charger calmed down and the smell dissipated. Thoughts ? This is the only theory I can come up with that matches the fact that everything in the rig is still working fine. Batteries (2x 6 volt) are showing fully charged, fridge is still working fine and there isn't an smell anywhere now.Re: Stink from new(ish) RVI'll check battery water level and report my results. I took the maintanence cover off the back of the fridge area (cover on outside) and it all still looks brand new in there, and I don't smell the rotten egg thing in that compartment at all. It's more inside the cabin area. Worth noting, the house batteries (2) are under the entry steps in this model, so it seems reasonable that the smell could be coming up from there to inside the cabin.
