I guess I need to start building one from scratch.Re: over the visor storageThanks, but I looked there too. They have separate shelves for the passenger and driver sides which I liked, but nothing for a Chevy express 3500. I'd like to be able to install my CB there, as there is no space anywhere at the dashboard, and I'd like to avoid drilling holes, especially in a plastic surface.over the visor storageI have a 2008 four winds on a 2007 chevy express platform. I have been looking for a storage shelf similar to the shelf-it made by vertically driven products, but so far haven't found one for my year/model. does anybody know of a product which will fit or maybe have plans for building one?Re: How to prevent leaks in the cabover area?I had a problem with leaks in the cabover when my motorhome was new. I took it back to the dealer after our first trip and had it "fixed" under warranty. When it got back I parked it for the winter, and when we took it out for the first trip in spring water was dripping on my wife's head whenever I made a turn. I took it to another repair shop and had the roof completely resealed ( now only 2 years old). At our next trip, water was again dripping into the cab area. I got a ladder and began caulking around the window and lights when I discovered that the marker lights across the front of the cabover were installed upside down. the vent hole which was supposed to be on the bottom of the lights were at the top. As water was running off the roof at the front, it flowed into the vent holes filling the lights and running into the RV wall. I removed the lights and reinstalled them correctly and have had no problems since.Re: Refrig while travelingOn for travelling. All propane devices off for refueling stops but back on when hitting the road again.Re: chevy express hood paint peelingI just dropped it off at the dealership. I agreed to pay a $100 deductible and Chevy will cover the rest. I should have it back tomorrow.Re: chevy express hood paint peelingI went to the Chevrolet website, contacted customer service (Email) and received a call back. They scheduled an appointment at the local Chevy dealer body shop. I went this morning and was told the paint on the hood is definitely delaminating, and that he will relay that info back to customer service. He said since there is only 13000 miles on the motorhome there should be no objections and I should be scheduled to go back to have the hood removed, stripped, repainted and reinstalled. I should be getting a call back from customer service tomorrow morning and will post the results then.chevy express hood paint peelingI have a 2008 four winds on a 2007 chevy express platform. for the past couple years I have noticed some small paint areas missing from the front of the hood. The dark grey primer is visible. Yesterday while washing it more paint peeled of when rinsing with the hose. Has anyone else had a problem with this happening? I have noticed other chevy vans on the road with similar missing paint spots in the same area along the front edge of the hood.
