No. She just said something about installation of tank..blah blah..needed OPD valve and walked off. There is a bulk dealer about 20 miles from me so I will try them. We have an 88 Elite Class C 26 Feet (Ford Econoline 350). We bought this a few months ago and have not been camping with it yet. The propane tank has the old style valve (not OPD). Can this valve be replaced with an OPD and, if so, since the tank sits sideways, will the float shut off when the tank is half full when filling it? Thanks for your time! We just purchased this 88 Elite -ford econoline 350 clss C with a 460 cid (7.5L). The previous owner (parts unknown) scribbled on the underside of the hood, among other things, to use 15w40 mobile 1 oil. Info I find online says to use 5w30. The mobile 1 site also says to use 5w30. The engine has 77000 miles and runs great! Which weight should I use or does it matter? Thanks for any input!6.2KViews0likes16Comments1157 pigtail for license plate light
We just purchased a 1988 Elite and as I was checking things out I found the license plate light was connected to a pigtail coming out of the 1157 bulb. Now all is well and good but the wiring is frayed and will soon need replaced. I would also like to replace these old bulbs with LED.
