But I ruled them out because the bed looks too small for two people (I'm 6'1" and my girlfriend is 5'6"), and the holding tanks are only 13 gallons each. I do a lot of dry camping / boondocking and a 13 gal grey tank would only do for about a day or so....Re: What Did You Do To Your Class B Today ?Used my Harvest Hosts membership to go to Uwharrie Vineyards for the weekend with my girlfriend and my dog. Nice weather and awesome weekend getaway for us both with my Roadtrek!Onan Microlite 2800 stops after releasing start switchHi, I've had a recent issue with my Onan 2800 Microlite gas generator. Sometimes, the remote genny switch doesn't light up after the genny starts, and I have to hold in the button. Oil level is good and gas tank is above over 1/2 tank. This has happened twice so far this year. I found that when the issue occurs, if I press the start button on the genny (underneath the rig in the back) it starts properly each time. Seems to be an issue with just the remote start switch. Anyone ever have an issue where the generator won't keep running after it starts from the remote switch? Thnx! I read the resistance across the shore power plug and it is only 75 ohms. I can plug into a 30 amp outlet with no problem, but would like to be able to use a smaller, longer extension cord. Any advise would be appreciated. My 2011 RT Popular 190 does the same thing...trips both outdoor GFI outlets, front and back. I ended up running the extention cord to my office window and connecting to a non-GFI....works everytime.Re: Ride comfortRides/handles really well "out of the box". My Tiffin diesel pusher was really smooth, but too large, so no real comparison. Never owned a C, but test drove several...my Roadtrek handles/rides better than all that I test drove.Re: Proper way to hand crank out Roadtrek awning?A quick update....drilled out the old pop-rivets and used 3/16" x 3/4" pop-rivets with the bracket. Did the trick and all working well now :) DVRe: Proper way to hand crank out Roadtrek awning?Quick update: OK, I removed the awning and found that's it's not carriage-bolts or screws that hold the mounting brackets, but pop-rivets. Each bracket is pop-rvieted from the outside with 3 each pop-rivets; makes sense since I don't see anyway to run bolts from the insde, which would be much more secure. So when I tried to roll it all the way out (as the dealer showed me...), it popped the heads off the pop-rivets. I will be doing the walking-out method once I get this fixed in the future. So to fix, I plan to drill out what's left of the rivets and install new ones. The rivets go through the bracket, then a metal spacer (secured in some way to the fiberglass topper), and then into the fiberglass topper, so I need to make sure I get the right rivet type, thickness and length. I'm definitely open to any advice for the reinstall. Thnx for roll-out advice and help! DVRe: Bike rack that will fit Roadtrek with Continental Spare TireThnx all for the great responses! I'm going to buy the bike rack and since I only have the one bike, I will try removing the hardware for the inside bike holder and see if that will clear the spare tire. If not, I'll go for a hitch extension. DVBike rack that will fit Roadtrek with Continental Spare TireHi all, I want to get a bike rack that holds two bikes for my 2011 Roadtrek 190-Popular. It has the Continental Spare Tire kit mounted to the rear on the driver's side and it sticks out about 10" from the rear bumper. I want to get the type of bike rack that mounts to the trailer hitch receiver, but it needs to clear the spare tire mounted on the back. Looking for recommendations....thnx! DVRe: All drains running slow and grey tank emptyHey all, Issue solved....loggenrock hit the nail on the head :) I was in the rig last night and the shower still had about 2 inches on water backed up on the shower floor. I removed the clean-out plug under the kitchen cabinet, heard a rush of air and all the water drained out! I removed the vent cap (also under the kit cabinet) and it does have a diaphram (anti-siphon?). I tested it and it seems to be working properly. Anyway, with the cap off, I tested the shower again and all flows beautifully. Thnx all for the assistance! DV
