So i'm out lol ;-)Re: why a class c over a class a ?Im not gone and still watching, however we changed our decision after sitting in a forester......dont take me wrong , to each is own but i fell in love with a new F150 , the cab comfort is FOR US very important, and the interior and the ride of a xlt is in another league. I know that we will loose some of the nice attributes of a motorhome, they have very strong point, but hey this is why there is so much choice ! Our choice is no better or worse than yours, its just different, at the end what is important is a cold one nearby the fire iisn't ? Have fun guys and millions of thank for your input !Re: why a class c over a class a ?Many excellent point of view, ill stick with my first choice then sunseeker 2650 ! Thats why there is so much choice ! To each is own ! Thanks to all !Re: why a class c over a class a ?ROFLMAO off road...gravel pad !!! you made my day LOL mlts22 wrote: Some "C"s can go off-road with a Quigley conversion (if on an E-350/E-450 chassis), or directly (if on a F-450/F-550 chassis.) For a lot of people, this doesn't mean that much since "off-road" may mean a gravel pad, but being able to go off the beaten track a ways is always nice, and higher ground clearance can be beneficial. Re: why a class c over a class a ?Well ! Its pretty obvious to me now, Ill stick with the Class C idea. I never really tought about the safety issue thanks for bringing that up. So the Sunseeker 2650 is staying in the picture , will probably make the purchase next week :-) Thanks for your input guys !!why a class c over a class a ?Hi, i wonder what is the advantage to buy a class c over a class a ? There is some 28 foot class a that are not much more expensive than a C, so tell me what i dont understand !Re: Expense , money etc etcThat can be an option, but only if I can find one with most of the equipment the one I've seen are equipped with the bare minimum, anyway thanks for the idea, ill take a better look at it :) PghBob wrote: I can't speak to this issue myself, but a number of folks on the forum have bought used RVs from rental companies and seem to be satisfied with the purchase. They seem to feel that the rental RVs are well maintained, serviced on schedule, and are generally in good shape. Before buying from a dealer, you might want to consider checking out a rental unit and comparing condition and price to the unit offered by a dealer. Re: Expense , money etc etcWhat about 71 grand for a sunseeker 3010 2015 with 12ooo miles ? Im in canada so its always more expensive and since our money's going down again ....Re: Expense , money etc etcYou are right guys , its very wrong to always base everything around money. If this lifestyle dont interfere with your basic needs at home than why not ? The more I read you guys the more motivation I get ! But dont share that with my dealership ! I have to find what is the fair price to pay to keep both party happy with the dealRe: Expense , money etc etcAny regrets ? If you would have to do it again would you ? Imho, travelling always cost an arm and a leg compare to staying home, however some way to travel cost more than others, but some add a fun factor not included in some other, but for some its to discover a new hotel room every night, for others its a campground or .... I have no other choice than trying it, am i going to like it a lot? I beleive so, if not then.....a few thousand down the drain and life goes on ( i prefer the idea that i we will like it, i dont have thousands to waste for fun )... ;-) We will rent for a week, then we will have a good idea , thanks to all for your input guys ! super_camper wrote: my rv cost experience check this thread out for my experience on rv costs.
