My family and I are going to Gettsyburg, Pa for an early fall camping trip (early Oct). Staying at Artillery Ridge Campground. This is our first trip to Gettsyburg. Suggestions on attractions we should not miss. We have a 3 year old.
So I think we have decided to camp at Bayley's Campground in Maine and the KOA Boston/Cape Cod when we visit Mass. With this said...anyone that has camped at these campgrounds, where is the best and cheapest place to purchase wood for campfires?
I guess saying east 'coast' was not the best description of the area I'm thinking. I guess I just meant eastern US, with interest in PA, NY, MI, OH, WV, VA. No further north than NY and no further south than VA. Sorry for confusing everyone.
We don't mind driving a few minutes to points of interest, but were just worried about the number of things to do other than the beach. I think we would be tired of the beach after a few day. Any suggestions?
