Remove slide to replace floor covering,Update .
I would like to replace carpet. Does the slide ,LR, need to be removed? It is a raised slide. Got an estimate from one person, he wanted $1400., labor because it would take three hrs., at 90.00 per hr. to remove, replace slide. Anyone done this without removing the slide. Well I took the rig to Craig's, generator shop,in Pensacola, FL. Had to replace voltage reg., and cleaned the slip ring. If in this area Craig's is the place to go. When he showed me the slip ring I though he would tell me it would require removal and replacement. But, he said no just need cleaning. Did that in about a minute, with sandpaper on a piece of wood. Could have charged a lot of labor, but he did not. Nice to deal with an honest shop. Thanks for all your help. Chuck474Views0likes0CommentsDamon Intruder,2000 lr/dr, slide won't go out.
I am unable to put slide out. The switch gets power with the in pushed, but nothing when out is pushed. I have bypassed the switch. has power to in side , none on out.
