Many small towns have free dump stations. If you are on the 2 lane roads they are a good resourse. I always look at any rest stop I am at, many do still have them and I use them when available.Re: I-95 through Baltimorethanks all, answered my question...... love this site!I-95 through BaltimoreCan you take Motorhomes through the I-95 tunnel in Baltimore? or do you have to take the 695 beltway around town to the northwest and connect back to 95 north of town. We are heading to New Jersey coming up from S. Carolina. Going though Baltimore on a Sat. morning. Any advise welcomed. ThanksRe: Visiting the AlamoThanks all for your help......Visiting the AlamoPlan on stopping at the Alamo with some grandkids this summer. We will be coming in on I-10 from Huston. Does anyone have suggestion on best exit and approach to use and where to park our 27 foot C. We visited the Alamo back in the 90's but with a car and I remember parking being an issue then. Any help is appreciated.Re: New to RV....new to class c....new to it allWE have used parking lots or truck stops for sleeping purposes, usually a few hours to recharge and then off again. Our local Walmart is pretty liberal with overnighters but I believe it varies by location. Many rest stops in the western states will be filled up with sleepers at night although I believe they are posted no overnighting, but we have never been asked to leave, once again we aren't staying more than a few hours not camping out. Idaho has many acreas of federal and state owned land, and alot of it is open camping, although there are often campfire restrictions if not in a developed campground. I know some other western states are the same. Good luck and enjoy your RV,,,, it really is the only way to travel.Re: How many of us are there? Owners of Dodge based RV's?Well Trish, we are right on US Hwy 95 just north of where it meets I-84. Not sure where you friends are west of Tetons, but like I said we are on the far west side of Idaho. But if we are sort of on your route please feel free to stop by. Hwy 95 will take you due north all the way to the Canuck border where you can go up through Banff and Jasper parks on your way to the Alcan. Its a good road and lots of varied scenery. Anywho, if you want, give me a PM and I will get you our contact info in case you end up in our area.... we have lots of hot water, 2 showers or a nice big tub to soak in, large capacity washer and plenty of room to hang either inside or out. We can probably even round up some steaks to grill if your into such things. Sounds like a great trip...... take care and let me know if I can be of help. A. PS, Kitty is welcome, we no longer have any pets so there will be no argumentsRe: How many of us are there? Owners of Dodge based RV's?Trish, I am sure your route to the artic from where you are will not bring you anywhere close to SW Idaho,, But..... if it does please know you are welcome at our home to stop and rest, take a long hot shower, do your laundry or whatever is needed.... My wife and I are already on the marrow donor list so, we must not be a match or they would have found it I presume, we will keep you in our prayers. AlRe: Thanks to my brotherI have a brother that lives 800 miles away,,, but he has never offered to crawl under my motorhome and fix anything.......Re: How many of us are there?
