All ActivityMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsRe: TravelAssist usageThere seems to be some confusion about what I was asking about. My question was pertaining to Good Sam's Travel Assist and not their Roadside Assistance program. Obviously these are two completely different programs. I already have the Roadside Assistance program but was asking about other experiences with the Travel Assist program. Sorry about the confusion...TravelAssist usageGreetings, I received a pamphlet from Good Sam TravelAssist asking me to join the program. I was wondering if anyone who has this service actually used the service. Another question is if something happens to me and I can't drive our rig home what about our pets. We travel with three cats who would not do well in a crate or separated from at last one of us. How would you rate this service, is it worth it? If you did use TravelAssist were you satisfied with it for the money...?Autumn Woods RV Park - Rochester, MN.We love this campground. This is a adult orientated campground as there is really nothing for kids to do hereā¦ The only thing stopping us from rating it a 10, is that they have absolutely no local tourism information in their office. In order to see what there is to do or see in the area, you would need to find the information elsewhere. The other thing about this campground is that they do not give a Good Sam's discount. The only discounts given is if you stay a week or a month. The campground is only minutes away from an abundance of shopping and stores. If you want shade at your campsite, I suggest you reserve site 1 thru 30. Other then those sites, you and your rig will be sitting in the sunshine. The gravel sites were not the most level, but we had no problem getting our coach nice and level with blocks that we always have along. All sites have picnic tables sitting on a blacktop/concrete pad. This is a nice and quite campground which office closes early during the weekdays. The International Airport is close by, but we notice no distractions from the planes coming and going. The Internet access at our site was extremely good and we were told it was like this in the whole campground. The young man who checked us in was very friendly. This was our only contact with staff here during out stay.Re: Breakdown InformationUnfortunately I have to be a contributor to this thread. Last August when we were north bound on I-39 somewhere between Bloomington, Ill. and Rockford, Ill. I went over a bump in the road caused by road construction. All of a sudden my coach had no power. No electrical, no transmission, no engine, no nothing. I managed to coast to the side of the road and their we sat. When I turned my ignitions switch, to attempt to start the coach, nothing happened. I waited a few minutes and tried again and it started only to stop running again. I then went and looked into the battery compartment to see if maybe a battery had came loose and was shorting out against something but they were okay. I then went back and attempted to start the coach and it started right up. It kept running so we headed out and made it back to Stevens Point, Wisconsin without further incident. I took the coach up to my dealer who looked the coach over from front to back but they couldn't find a thing wrong with it. So, somewhere in my coach I have a problem waiting to jump out and bite me and there's nothing I can do to prevent it. Scary ain't it.:(
