The connections are clean nothing on them no residue etc. Great power coming into the rig too.Re: Battery won't chargeYes charger ( external one ) properly connected to the correct terminals, Lights worked at first then went dead. I knew I had no power because my fridge was reading lo dc.I did have the air on and then that stopped and so did everything else so because of lo dc reading I figured battery not charged also my test panel says no battery. Could the air conditioner have blown something that would affect the battery not charging? Very frustrating for me! Yes the switch for the house is in the correct position The lights work when plugged into external outlet did not try using the 12V when all this startedBattery won't chargeHi I have a Chateau Citation Class C motorhome My house battery will not take a charge?? I had the battery tested and they said it was good. Had the charger on for 24 hours no charging happened. Why is it not charging ? Can something else be the problem. I don't know anything about all this electrical stuff. No man around so need some advice in case I have to bring it into a shop. Would the converter be an issue, It reads lo dc on my fridge but have no lights no electric steps and can't open the slides. Help please!Re: Fridge problems NorcoldOk I cleaned the battery terminals then put on my trickle cell charger around 7:30 this morning so we'll see if they charge. My slide outs and electric steps are also not operating so I think must be the battery. I have the RV plugged into house current and I have a reading of 119 on my meter. Can't ck anything else because all is under the bed and can't get the slide out open.Re: Fridge problems NorcoldChecked my batteries and I believe they are dead. Checked the converter and that seemed ok my board inside the RV says batteries not charged . One last thing I will try is to put a charger on the battery to see if it will charge. I have to find someone to get the battery out as it's way too heavy for me. That's if they don't charge. I would not be able to put in a new conveyor if that was the problem. I would need a guy or a RV repair chop to do that for me. Thanks for your help. Will keep you posted on the outcome but I think battery. We'll see???Re: Fridge problems NorcoldWill my batteries charge while I'm plugged into electric?? Never had this problem before. Will also ck my converter. Thanks all for your quick response and possible solutions. Will see what happens tomorrowRe: Fridge problems NorcoldOk the converter sounds like the problem maybe?? Will ck it tomorrow as I have had issues with it before as it would pop off forgot about that. Power seems ok in the garage have other things plugged in.The RV is plugged in with the main rv cord and also a extension cord. Thanks for the info and help. Will let you know if it's the converter.I'm in Nevada and it's too blasted HOT to go into the garage now. Have to go early morning.Re: Fridge problems NorcoldThanks I'll try that. Could it be bad power in my garage? Like I said it worked fine before, If I have it plugged into an outlet wouldn't that mean I'm not on DC power my fridge only works when plugged in or on propane powerFridge problems NorcoldI had my fridge plugged into my garage outlet fridge worked great. Unplugged to take in for other repairs. Came home plugged it back into same outlet now I get a reading lo dc?? What does this mean excately? I tried plugging into different outlets same reading. My invertor is only about 4 years old. I am a woman with no knowledge of electricity so is there a simple answer? Also the fridge won't work when I turn on the generator I thought it should. Yes I did unplug the cord from the outlet before turning on the generator,Could it be a fuse??? Please help!
