well what happened is I hit the corner of my garage "lightly" and when I lookend in the bathtub i noticed the panel in the corner of it had broken. other than the sheet metal outside there is no other damage i can see. I beleive the corner was bad from previous water damage. thats why got the enclosure. it will hide that corner damage nicely and improve the shower as far as moisture goes. I wonder if I should somehow re-inforce the corner or just glue the enclosure on and move on.?158Views0likes0Commentsbrickwall
hey, i bumped the corner of my fifth wheel into my brickwall, on the outside it buckled the siding a bit. on the inside it seems that the pressed board paneling on rear of the tub is mushed the walls feel pretty stiff above and to sides and i want to put in a tub surround. do i have to go into that corner to reinfoce it or just lay the surround over the damage. i dont know if there is wood furring behind the paneling or something else seems hollow 2001 jayco qwest.643Views0likes0CommentsRe: wadautink?
thanks for the replies. 3 yrs from retiring I am planning for a new truck, the gm dually is of course my "dream machine" diesel....... I didn't even know that they made units that heavy, it a very luxurious unit, too bad. oh yea, had to do the brakes at 100k, I used napa parts. the problem is that all four calipers and rotors were sketchy so I replaced them all. dale, I got mine 2001, 8.1 gas, Allison 6spd, crew, 4.10 axle. this is the best truck I have ever owned! I am only towing a jayco 28'qwest I think the gvwr is around 80000. I tow with fresh water filled for her benefit truckstop toilets can be nasty even for ladies. never had a problem towing, but I have had to replace the neutral/drive selector switch twice. it only has 150000 on it bought it new.357Views0likes0Commentswadautink?
I am looking for some advice, I presently own a 2001 jayco qwest 28' fvr, I am towing it with a 2001 Silverado 2500hd, 8.1 gas, allison 6spd. been every where with it, no problems.
